Anaisha's pov
"wahh meri sherni...impressive..." hearing this I turned around and found vidyut bhaiya standing there along with Abhiraaj... seeing them I smiled and went towards them

Then bhaiya again started to speak "See Abhi my sister turned out to be a Sherni" he said while patting Abhiraaj's back
And hearing him I chuckled and asked "what are you both doing here?" as I asked that instead of bhaiya Abhiraaj answered saying "we were discussing something" his voice had a hint of worry in it but I shrugged it off
And said "oh ok... let's go back everyone must be waiting" to which both the men replied with a nod and starting walking downstairs..
Abhiraaj's pov
As we were walking downstairs I was lost in my thoughts thinking about the matter me and vidyut were discussing....
Even since the call a worry rushed inside me....I'm worried...I'm worried about her...I thought while looking at her
As I looked at her again vihaan's words kept ringing in my head "you must protect her by protecting I mean not even a scratch"
Will I be able to protect her?....protect her from my world?.....the world full of blood and pain...will I?
My thoughts were interrupt when Vidyut call me saying "Abhi you and Anu should dance!" as he said that I looked at him trying to process what he just said and asked him "Anu?? why are you calling her Anu?"
hearing me he rolled his eyes and said "she's my sister I can call her whatever I want" hearing his words a scoffed left my mouth and I said "aren't you being too close to her now a days?"
in return he smirked and said "and aren't you being too nosy now a days?" saying this he walked away leaving me dumbfounded......
While I just shoked my head before walking towards Vihaan who was talking to someone on the phone.... and as I stopped infront of him he kept the phone aside and said while looking at me "we don't know where he is"
As he said that rage took over me and I said "what do you mean you don't know where he is?? Vidyut just told me that he was in his old penthouse"
Hearing me he said with a sign " exactly he was! But now he isn't...we tri-" he paused mid way making me confused but before I can ask him what happened I felt a presence behind me.......... causing me to look back and there I found Anaisha along with Vidyut......
then she stood beside me and Vihaan before speaking.....she asked "what are you guys talking about?"............. to which vihaan replied with a smile and said "nothing bhabs just work related matter"
Anaisha's pov
I was in a call with Tara when vidyut bhaiya came and stood infront of me...... seeing him I smiled and told Tara "I'll call you later Tara take care saavu".........as I hang up Vidyut bhaiya asked with a smile "who was it Anu?"
to which i replied with a smile "my best friend.....actually my soul sister who also happened to be my PA"...............hearing me he frowned and said "wait.....she's your best friend and also your PA and she's not attending your engagment?"
as he said that a sign left my mouth and I said "no she isn't actually she is managing everything in New york as I shifted my business here recently"
Hearing me he hummed and said "let's go and meet Vihaan he was searching you"
"Oh he was? Let's go then" I said as I started walking towards Vihaan who was talking to Abhiraaj and as I stood near them
He paused what he was saying....... and I found it strange so due to curiousity I asked them what they were talking about..
To which Vihaan replied with a smile and said "nothing bhabs just work related matter" and as he said that I felt my ears heating up... Due to the new identity I got which was quite unexpected for me
Bhabs a single word that gave me a new identity a new love a new family...... The sense of joy this word give me is alot more than the sense of guilt I feel everytime for lying to the people...who is giving me the love that I don't even deserve...... the love a contract marriage don't deserve.....
I was deep in my thoughts but was bought back to reality when bhaiya said "Anu and Abhi why don't you guys go and dance it's your engagement!"
Seeing his excitement I chuckled while Abhiraaj just rolled his eyes and said firmly "we are not going to dance!"
And hearing him an idea popped inside my head making me smirk "leave it bhaiya....he can't dance at this age.... think about his knees what if they start paining?" I said which result in earning chuckles from both Vidyut and Vihaan...
As I said that Abhiraaj jerked his head towards me before saying "are you calling me old?" to which I replied with a smirked while taking a step forward and said "what if I am?"
Hearing me he looked straight at my eyes but teared them away and looked at bhaiya before saying "Vidyut you know what we are gonna dance and" he paused and again looked at me before saying "lemme show you how good this old man can dance"
And saying he pulled me towards the dance floor even before I can protest....as we reached at the centre the lights became dim...
And Tere Bin started playing........then Abhiraaj extended his hand.....waiting for me to hold it........which I did.........Interwining our fingers.....he sneaked his other hand around my waist and pulled me closer......and closer........erasing every gap between us.........He held me gently yet firmly.....and as we started moving with the music.......My heart started beating faster and faster with every passing second......It was beating so fast that I'm sure even he could hear it.......But at that moment....I didn't even care.......My mind was telling me to pull away....pull away from him.......but my body was doing the opposite........I felt like he was corupting my system.......... and I was willingly allowing him to do so.......and by the end ......... I had no idea what was going on....
And as the song ended the room filled with the sound of clapping and cheers but....the noise inside me was much louder than this....
Then I noticed Abhiraaj was still holding me...... which made it even worse for so I just excused myself..... And straight towards my room....
Because that was the best thing I could do.....to calm the storm inside me...
