20. Reception

Abhiraaj's pov

"It's the sweetest halwa I ever had.... taste just like you...... sweet" I said as I saw the not-so-innocent smile on her face fade.... I looked at her pissed face causing me to bite my lip in order to control my laugh.

Then I heard Vidyut who was sitting beside me choke, causing me to look at him with raised eyebrows while he whispered "it's not appropriate to say something like this on a dining table" he said while Kabir was trying to not laugh..... seeing this I rolled my eyes and looked at Isha who was glaring at me

then maa said "Anu come and have your breakfast then take some rest , you need energy because the reception is gonna be tiring" in return she just nodded and sat beside me then Kabir cleared his throat and said "we're leaving for work" saying this he got up followed by me and Vidyut 

when maa said "you will work today too?" to which vidyut replied saying "we have to" then maa glared at us and said firmly "no one's working today!" hearing this I signed and looked at dad in hope and looks like he got the hint

so he looked at maa and said "vani let them go, they have to complete the work as soon as possible" sensing the seriousness in dad's voice maa nodded and said "ok"

"are you kidding me?" Kabir said as he ran his fingers through his hairs due to fustration making me roll my eyes then he again said "how the fuck do you expect me to find him? when your internet is shit?" he said looking at his laptop screen

god it's been almost a hour since he's complaining about the internet! I'm so done with him! then he again said "can't you afford a better wifi? what's the point of being this rich?" to which I replied saying "shut up!" because I was really annoyed....

then he looked at me with a smirk before saying "are you gonna cry if I don't?" hearing this I shook my head and said "stop complaining there's nothing I can do about it!" he was a saying something "yes you-" but paused before continuing "found him" 

hearing this Vidyut raised his eyebrow while scrolling his phone and said "where is he?" to which Kabir replied saying "here" as he said that both me and Vidyut sat up straight and I said "what?"

then Vidyut said "track him!"  to which kabir replied saying "already doing that" hearing this Vidyut pull out his phone and dialed someone's number then said "get the room ready we are having a guest"

saying this he hanged up the call when kabir started to speak he said "I'm excited! it's been a while since I've done this" hearing this I shook my head and walked out of the room followed by them

We walked inside the dimly lit room, blood stains were everywhere, the room was filled with our men.... the sound of our shoes were getting louder with each steps....

then we stopped infront of a man who was unconsious and tied on a chair so I signaled my men to wake him up...... one of them came and threw cold water on him making him to jerk open his eyes... he blinked them few times

when I said "hello Raghav may I ask where that stupid boss of your is?" hearing me he chuckled and said "coming straight at the point... I see... but why in such a hurry? oh! your wife must be waiting for you right?" seeing this I fisted my hand and again asked "where is he"

but instead of answering my question he said "she's hot... looks like a meal" hearing this I loaded my gun then Vidyut slapped him making the chair fall on the ground and said "not a word about my sister!"
