Ch.18 Leave, Please

Tae's POV

I opened the door to a well-dressed Jungkook, and he was looking stunning, as always... he smiled at me, I had to suppress the urge to hug him because, well, mister was late.
"Why are you late? Didn't we say we would meet at 9? You're more than an hour late. "
"Sorry Petal, got busy on my way here~"
As he was taking his coat off, I noticed a fresh hickey on his neck, not mine, that's for sure...

I was aware that what was between him and I was only for fun, nothing serious, we weren't a couple.
At first, I didn't mind, I even enjoyed it, no strings attached. However, recently, I couldn't help but feel disappointed and sad whenever I knew he was with someone else, that he was being happy with someone else, not with me.

"Your usuall hook ups?"
"Nah told them I was busy today, but while i was on my way to buy ice cream, I met that cute cashier, I'm sure you would like him too. Wouldn't say no to a threesome with my Petal and that guy, " He answered, hanging his coat.

"Not thanks. Next time if you get 'busy' don't come at all."
I walked past him without looking back to join Hwa in the living room, but he stopped me, pulling me by the waist and backhugging me.
"Is my Petal jealous~ You dont like the threesome idea?? Fine, I always have enough love left for my Petal"

As he placed kisses along my nape and shoulders, I could only think how this wasn't fair. How am I supposed to resist this Bunny's charms?!
Right then, Hwa, who was probably feeling lonely in the living room, came out looking for us and called out for Jungkook when she saw him,
"Kookie!! You late!" She walked in his direction with a pout and a frown, she was waiting for him since I picked her up at daycare.

Jungkook let me go and turned to pick her up. "Kookie is sorryyyyy, but I brought ice cream as an apology. Is Hwa still mad??" He showed the plastic bag he had in his other hand.
He had pronounced the magic words, her eyes lit up, and she nodded several times. "Hwa wants ice cream!"

I let out a sigh, I can't stay depressed all night now. Tae, you have no right to be jealous anyway, so snap out of it!
"Wait before you give her ice cream. Let me ask Jimin, give me your phone."
He looked at me with his handsome doe eyes and tilted his head confused. "Why my phone?"
Jungkook reached for his phone in his jean pocket and handed it to me
"I'll text Yoongi hyung we'll get a fast answer."
"Ooooh, smart Petal smart!"
Tell me something I don't know~
"Funny, Jimin answered instead of hyung."
"I guess hyung must be driving,"
"I guess, Aaand it's oke! She already ate dinner so you can give her some"

The rest of the night went well. We ate the ice cream Jungkook brought while Hwa told us about her day.

"Hwa learned a song today!"
"Oh, really?? Show us your singing talent, kid!" Jungkook asked her. She proudly got up and even danced while singing 'five little monkeys', she gave it her all. We both applauded her once she was done. Why didn't I record it?? I could have sold the video to Yoongi hyung!

"wow Hwa you are the best!!!"
Jungkook nodded. "That was awesome, Hwa!!"
She giggled and a little embarrassed she hid her face with her hands. "Hehe, but Hobi is also the best! Hwa likes to dance with Hobi"
"Hobi taught you, right?"
"Yes! Hobi is so cool, too. He moved like this, and like this!" She tried mimicking some dance moves.
"Waa, that must have been so cool!"
"And how was he? Hm? Was he sad? Did his smile look fake?-" Jungkook asked her, but I interrupted him."What are you doing? She wouldn't even know how to answer that. "
"I guess you're right..."
She looked at us confused and then went on telling us how the rest of her day went. Some random kid, named Dohyun, teased her about her spectacular dance moves, and another kid named Momo hit him. I like this girl.
"Arent these kids, Min members' childrens?" I asked Jungkook
"They are indeed, Yoongi hyung better not hear about this or that Dohyun's father going to see a hole in his next paycheck"
"Hahah, and what about Momo's parent? Shouldn't they get a raise then?"
"We do get paid more when Hwa is happy, I guess it would be the same for them too!"
"Do you know who that kid's dad is?"
"If I remember correctly, Momo doesn't have a dad, Maria noona is raising her by herself,"
"Whaaaaaat??? That woman is part of a gang plus a single mother, damn she must be so badass"
"She is!! Maria Noona is badass! She even won hyung's respect. "

Once done, we decided to watch a movie. Jungook suggested ToyStory, but Hwayoung disagreed because she didn't like Woody's hat. I get you girl, cowboy style is outdated. He was really disappointed, he pouted and crossed his arms. Which one is the real 2 years old, hm? Anyway, she chose in the end a princess movie, Frozen.
I prepared the movie and they took place on the sofa,
"Petal, come here." he patted the seat next to him. Right now, I didn't want to be close to him, so I refused, "It's okay. I'll sit on the armchair."
He reacted with a pout "whyyy let's cuddle while we watch this movie. That isn't as great as ToyStory."
My eyes opened wide as I heard him, for him cuddle was pretty much foreplay and right now we are in the middle of babysitting how could he say that!? And as expected, Hwa heard him too. "What is cuddle??"
This little girl and her curiosity, I was afraid Jungkook would tell his own definition of 'cuddles', so I stopped him before he could say a word
"It's when you hug someone,"
"Hug? Hwa likes hug! Hwa wants cuddle then, "
"Not what i had in mind but will work." Jungkook opened his arm. "Let's all 'cuddle' then." Hwa jumped in his arm with a smile "yeaa"
He then looked at me. "Come Petal, let's cuddle~"
...I couldn't turn him down twice, I sat next to them.

I was getting so immersed in the movie, I mean, how did Elsa live in that ice castle? There is nothing but ice in there. Did she feed on ice? that's why she must be so thin.
That's when I felt lips move on my neck, familiar lips, his lips... Wait! I turned to face him and whisper-yelled, "Are you crazy?? stop that!"
"She is fast asleep. It should be okay."
He was right she was sleeping, and I didn't even notice it.
"Still, we can't act like this in her presence,"
"Come oooon, where is my usual Petal?"

True, a week ago, I would have never turned him down. I would have put Hwa to sleep in my room, and we would have had amazing sex right here on my couch. But right now I don't want to, seeing him enter my place with hickeys from another man was my turn off.
"Jimin and Yoongi will be here soon to pick Hwayoung up." I used that as an excuse. He didn't buy it. I carried a sleeping Hwayoung in my room and let her sleep on my bed until Yoonmin would come by to pick her up.

Once back in the living room, Jungkook wasn't in his spot on the couch anymore, I looked around but didn't see him.
He appeared behind me and whispered in my ear, "Looking for me, Petal~." he then turned me around so we were facing each other, wrapped his arms around my waist, and connected our lips. After a brief instant, I reluctantly pushed him away.
"Jungkook, stop it. You had your fun before you came here, so quit it."
"Still with that? I didn't have my petal fun, so it's not the same"

I used to love hearing him call me 'Petal', which made me feel special to him. Not anymore.

"Stop calling me Petal."
"What's wrong with you? You insisted I keep calling you Petal. Now you tell me to stop?"
"... find yourself a new Petal"
"Are you being for real now? Where is this all coming from? Because i was late today? Come on, I apologized. "
"No, not because you were late."
"Then why? Because I was with that cashier guy? It wasn't planned. I met him on my way, and he was hot. Is this why?"
"Yes, it made me realize I dont want to do this anymore."
"What do you mean? You were oke with us seeing other people until now. "
"I am not anymore,"
"So we're done like this?"
"I guess yes.."
"... Yes?"
"Let's just be friends,"
"And what if I dont want to?"
"Then we'll be strangers."
"Come on Petal-" he reached for my hand, but I moved it away
"Leave, please," and so he did. No more words were spoken that night.
