Ch. 11 1st Day

Hwayoung was ready for her first day at Sunny Daycare. Jimin had dressed her in a comfy outfit. A simple white t-shirt and on top a beige oversized sweat, some brown leggings, white long socks and some colored shoes. Since they had time to spare he took the time to braid her hair in two plated braids, and voila she was all ready and cute.
She was now waiting for Jimin to get ready himself, her teddy bear in hand she jumped all over excited to go. He told her that Hoseok would be there and that she would be able to make a looot of friends there, she was really looking forward to it!

Jimin had dropped Hwayoung at her new daycare 30 minutes ago, and from then she didn't leave Hoseok's side, too shy to approach other kids. He tried to help her talk to them but in vain, so here she was following him everywhere he went.
"Hwayoung I don't mind you staying with me, but I'm not doing anything fun right, isn't it boring for you? Don't you want to get a loooot of friends?"
She tightened her hold on her teddy bear "Yes Hwa wants fwend, but scawy"
He crouched in front of her "Oke maybe we tried too big, let's try talking to one kid at a time"
"Hobi together with Hwa?"
"Of course, Hobi will come with you" she grabbed his hand and they entered the playroom. Hoseok looked for an extroverted kid who would be easy to talk to. But he didn't have to look long, a little girl, with long black hair, approached Hwayoung with a smile on her face.
"What's his name?" She pointed at Hwayoung's teddy bear. Surprised Hwayoung looked at Hobi, who nodded, telling her she should answer. "Howy"
The other girl repeated "Howy?" She suddenly ran to where she was sitting earlier and came back with her puppy plushie "Tani" She took her plushie's paw and touched Hwayoung's teddy bear "Howy and Tani fwend?"
Hwayoung's face illuminated, and she nodded several times, happy her teddy bear got a friend!
"Oke now that your plushies are friends, introduce yourselves too" Hoseok helped them,
Hwayoung looked at him and remembered how Jimin taught her to introduce herself, but she couldn't remember anything except telling her name and a handshake.
"Hwayoung" and she held her hand waiting for a handshake.
The black-haired girl followed "Momo" and shook her hand.
"Wanna be Hwa's fwend?"
"Yes!"
And this is how Hwayoung got her first friend at daycare!

Jimin was sitting at the counter, doing nothing, every customer ordered and got their order now he was just waiting. Elbow on the table and his chin leaning on his hand he let out a deep sigh, which drew Jin's attention.
"What's bothering you Jiminie?"
"Nothing just missing Yoongi, haven't seen him in a long time"
"Yoongi was in the same state yesterday"
"What do you mean?"
"I visited him yesterday he was all depressed"
"He was home?"
"... no, at work"
"You know where he works?"
"Yes I, um used to work for him"
"Oh even better, can you tell me more about his job, I tried asking but he wouldn't answer "
"... I'll tell him to get his coffee himself today, so you can see each other"
"He gets his coffee here???" Jimin intensely looked at him, how did he not know that?!
"Always had, although not himself, he sends someone in the morning and around noon to get it for him"
"Oh, oke thought so. I have been working here for 6 months now and didn't remember seeing him ever"
"You would have remembered him?"
"Of course! Would have made a move for sure, like write my number on the cup with a little heart~, or even tell him to wait for my shift to be done so we could have a little fun~"
"Wouldn't that be too fast?"
"Maybe, but why wait? If I'm interested in him I should make a move"
"What if it doesn't work out?"
"I'll see through time, although before Yoongi I had only one real relationship, the others were usually only flings and one-night stands so it didn't really need to work out"
"Oke stop talking, I want to keep this angel image I have of you"
"Oh come on Jin hyung~ I'm far from being an angel that's for sure. But what about you? tell me hyung, how was it before getting married? You're handsome, bet guys crawled at your feet for your attention"
"Hey! I never really cared about these things before I met Jonnie"
"Waw you're more of a prude than I thought, by the way, why didn't you tell me you were gay! Not that you really had to, but you often talk about 'your partner' sooooo I thought it might come with time, but you never did"
"And what about you not telling me right away about Hwayoung"
"Touché, by the way, she isn't my 'daughter' she's my niece, but I thought it was easier to explain like that"
"Oh don't worry about that-"
That's when Jimin notices Yoongi from outside "Jin hyung you're the best!" He hugged him and ran to the counter.
Jin blinked twice, he didn't have time to call Yoongi, they were talking the whole time, so Yoongi being here had nothing to do with him.
"Don't run, you'll fall!"
