Martin Garrix feat. Usher - Don't Look Down
The sound of Four clanging a metal bar against the metal railing of the stairs woke us all up, I turned in my bed, my ears hurting from the sound.
"Initiates! Get up! You have half an hour to get dressed and have breakfast before we meet in the pit." A loud voice boomed. I cringed at the volume, okay, it wasn't Four.
"Four usually gives us an hour." Charlie pointed out from across the room.
"In case you haven't noticed, I am not Four." Eric stated before the sound of his heavy footsteps descended up the stairs.
"Dick," I mumbled under my breath as I got up from my bed. I began to get changed.
"Nice legs, Sam." Peter cooed. I turned my head as I slipped my pants on. I was shirtless, standing in my bra and training pants.
"Nice eyes, Peter. If you keep staring at me I'll use my finger to poke them out." I smiled sarcastically making Peter huff and get out of bed. He was well built, but he wasn't attractive to me. I don't get why he has to know everything, like what faction I am from.
As I hurried into the food hall, I heard someone call my name.
"Sam!" It was male. I stopped and looked around. "Sam!" My eyes stopped once they landed on Alex, the guy I met last night. He smiled as he waved me over, I happily strolled over, taking a seat opposite him.
"Hey," I greeted, smiling widely.
"Hey, Eric didn't punish you too harshly did he? I can have a word with him-"
"No, Alex, he didn't punish me at all actually," I lied. He practically grounded me like he was my father and I had a feeling that if I didn't stay away from him then he would come up with a worse punishment.
"Really?" Alex questioned as he leaned in more, "he's a hard piece of work, our Eric. We're both leaders but he likes to make out that what he says goes."
"You're a leader?" I asked, getting confused. Alex nodded before he bit into a sausage.
"Candy is too," he told me with a mouthful, wow, attractive... I laughed, I suppose he can't be perfect, perfect looking, but nobody's perfect physically and mentally.
"Candy's a leader?" I asked in surprise, wow. I jumped when all the dauntless in the hall started to bang their cups on the tables. I looked around, weary of the loud noise until the noise quietened down and my eyes flew up to a balcony type clearing above the food hall.
"Listen up!" Max called, he was tall, he had brown hair that was turning a little grey near his sideburns, he was big built like most of the men here and beside him stood Eric, his arms folded across his chest, his fierce blue eyes scanning the sea of dauntless and his stance at ease. My eyes trailed over to the woman next to him. I smiled when I realised it was Candy, she was wearing a jumpsuit that hung loosely to her body but tightened a bit around her bump.
Wait, she's pregnant?
I leant in, my eyes flickering to Alex who was totally ignoring Max.
"Candy's pregnant?" I questioned, why hadn't I noticed this last night? Alex looked up and smirked.
"She's like a planet, how could you not notice?" He asked, I furrowed my eyebrows as I stared at him.
"She is not like a planet," I scolded him, he put his hands up in a surrender motion.
"I'm sorry initiate, don't hurt me," he pretended to be scared making me laugh, before I looked back up at Max. I had totally missed what he was saying before so I had to try and work it out.
