A/N: Hello there readers! This is based on the plot of Top Gun Accelerate! A fan fiction I've already fully published on this site! While it is recommended you read it, you don't have to. The script later mentioned in this book will be related to the plot of that fan fiction. Also I don't own any of Paramount's block buster movies. Nor to I pretend to know what all goes into the process of making a movie. I hope you enjoy! And if you are a familiar reader of my stories, you will notice that Hale (My favorite OC TBH) has returned in this story as well! Enjoy my little actors/actresses!

Hale Nicolas Mapother was born in London in 2004. Her mother didn't write or sign her name on Hale's birth certificate.

The place where her parents would have signed - was left blank.

The only clue she had about her heritage was her last name - Mapother. Despite not knowing her birth parents - she was perfectly happy.

This was especially due to the family that had raised her in London.

Her adoptive parents, Thomas and Amelia Taylor, were as sweet as any person could be.

They could not have children, however, they treated Hale like their own.

One thing they decided was to keep her name exactly how it was originally given to her by her birth mother.

Why?

Because they recognized that her name was the only thing she had of her past.

Amelia adored Hale, so much that she decided to homeschool her.

Amelia had an early childhood education degree but had retired from the job when they adopted Hale.

Amelia and Hale bonded over books.

She made sure that Hal was well-educated and well-read. Amelia also taught her necessary baking and cooking skills.

Thomas would always spoil Hale when he got home from work - he was a named partner at the biggest law firm in London.

He would always bring his daughter sweets as he walked home on Fridays.

The two would watch movies all weekend. Thomas was a movie fanatic, which is something he passed on to his daughter.

He also loved theater and would take 'his girls' - as he often called them - to see shows.

The three of them would also make pottery together on the weekend.

They wanted to teach Hale all the importance of the arts in the world.

That was one main reason Amelia homeschooled Hale.

She wanted her daughter to not sit in a boring plain old room, what child could learn in that?

So since she had the privilege to homeschool her child she did.

She understands that it is a privilege that not everyone has.

So maybe this reason was what made them so accepting of Hale wanting to audition for a casting call - one that called for a child actor.

The Taylor family was all at a local theater one evening to see a production of 'The Phantom of the Opera'.

Her parents had stopped to talk to an older couple - one that had stopped them to complement their daughter's respectful behavior.

Hale was an easily distracted child.

She wondered all over the place, never able to keep still. Another reason Amelia wanted to homeschool her.

Thomas worried she would never learn to sit still, while Amelia (a trained professional) knew the importance of a child's imagination.

Amelia wanted to keep Hale's imagination alive for as long as she could

. So whilst her parents were talking, Hale wandered over to the wall of pamphlets.

She liked to read them while her parents socialized.

This was something that happened often at the theater.

She could only read the ones on the bottom row - which were the last row of casting calls.

The one that caught Hale's attention read...

'Child Actress for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.

Hale immediately grabbed it, and stuffed it into the inside pocket of her jacket.

Eventually, Hale had been taken home, given a bath, and put to bed.

It was that Saturday night at about twenty-two hundred hours when the Taylors heard about the casting call... Hale knocked lightly on their bedroom door, "Mum? Pa?" She called from the outside.

"Come in, sweetheart," Amelia answered.

Hale walked into the room and over to her mum, reaching up to be lifted off the floor and onto the bed.

Amelia sat Hale between her and Thomas.

"What is it, Little One?" Tom asked, "Did you have a nightmare?"

Hale shook her head, "No, pa. I found this at the theater" She handed him the pamphlet she had grabbed.

"What is it, Thomas?" Amelia questioned, leaning in closer.

He smiled up at his wife, "Why it's a casting call - For Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. For a child actress."

Hale smiled and nodded, "Yes it is! Oh, may I please audition, mum and pa? I want to act"

Amelia and Thomas shared a knowing look.

Amelia spoke, "If that is what you'd like then you may." She turned to look at Thomas again, "When are the auditions, my love?"

Thomas scanned the pamphlet closer now, "Looks like - exactly a month away. That's long enough to get our little miss star all prepared to do her best."

Hale smiled brightly in the dark.

She was very excited about this.

Amelia held her daughter close, "Alright you - say goodnight. It's time to return to bed." Hale in response yawned.

Thomas put the pamphlet on the bedside table, "Would you like to stay here, Hale, or go back to your room?" He held his daughter tightly.

He simply loved her with his whole heart - just don't tell Amelia that.

"My room, please. Thank you" She yawned one more and closed her eyes as she leaned on her father's chest.

"Alright, come on little one." Thomas stood up, and carried her back to her room.

He tucked her into bed and placed a kiss on her forehead, tucking a strand of her dirty blonde - almost brown hair behind her ear, "Goodnight, my sweet Hale."

She snuggled into her covers, "Goodnight, Pa". She fell asleep almost instantly after.
