3rd person POV

The tall woman ran, her red heels clacking along the cobblestone alley. Tears run down her face, mixing with the droplets of rain. She holds her month-old daughter in her arms, wrapped in a stolen sheet and a torn hoodie much too large. The woman stumbles over a corner, looking back as she hears the men approach her.

She spots a garbage can by a pile of wood and broken bricks. She takes a deep breath and opens the lid, placing her daughter on top of the black garbage bags. She sniffles, taking off her necklace and clasping it around her daughter's neck. A golden chain with a heart-shaped pendant wrapped with a snake

The woman takes one last look at the infant, her black hair, barely grown in, and her bright blue eyes

"Ti amo figlia mia, che gli angeli ti proteggano"

•I love you, my daughter, may the angels protect you•

with one last kiss on the baby's forehead, the woman closes the lid and runs, not bearing to look back, only looking forward, for the rest of her life.

The child lays on top of the filled, black bags, cold, abandoned, saved. Unknowingly given a second chance at life

she sleeps not knowing that was the last time she will ever see her mother

A loud bang awakes the baby, after being in the can for hour hours, she cries, wails, not realising she has drawn the attention of one of the most dangerous men in the world.

"where the fuck is that coming from?" The tall, dark-haired man questions

"I think it's the garbage can Don" another suited man answers

The lid is lifted by the dangerous man, revealing to him the crying baby girl

The man instantly melts as he picks the girl up, into his arms

all the men stand there, stunned

"Don vuoi che me ne liberi?"
Don do you want me to get rid of it?

"No, La sto portando a casa" the man snaps
No, I'm taking her home"•

The men look at each other, not daring to question their Don

The girl is taken home and raised by the Don who named her Celestia Reign De Niro

Since she was able to walk she was trained, by 13 she had killed more people than she could count on her hands and by 21 she is now a deadly, cold, respected assassin, the best in the world, loving no one except the man she calls her father, the man who saved her and in return, she is his only soft spot, the most feared daddy/daughter duo.
