Aurora could feel her heart beating out of her chest, she had to looked down just to make sure it wasn't springing out her chest like they did in cartoons

soon she would be holding her boy in her arms, and she would finally see Carl's sweet little grin, she would be able to laugh at Shane's terrible jokes that somehow always made her laugh, and feel Lori warm motherly hold

she was practically already climbing out the car before it came to a stop, she could see Shane marching up like a drill Sargent- a very typically walk for Shane, there was yelling coming from people hadn't seen before but she had somehow ignored it all, she could only hear the blood rushing in her ears and the deep boom of her chest that sounded like crackling thunder.

" Shane!" she screamed as she scrambled out of the car, calling out to the first face she recognized, Shane almost felt like he was hearing a ghostly call, he hadn't stopped thinking about the girl since the moment she went down, an intense guilt and morning ate him away every second.

" Aurora?" he asked as the ghost ran towards him, he almost burst out into tears as he felt the girl dive into him, wrapping her arm around his neck and holding him close, he instantly hugged the girl back, closing his eyes, the girl felt home when she hugged Shane, their relationship was like no other, when she was little, she called him uncle Shane, but as she grew older, she just called him Shane, but the uncle niece relationship was still there, Aurora saw Shane as a second father, he had always been there for her, especially when rick was in a coma.

" oh my god, what-how-" he began to ask as he placed her on the ground, looking at her face, his concerned eyes scanning it, how was she here, alive?

" I'm so glad you're alive," she said tearing up and looking into his eyes, that was until she heard it, she never knew what heaven felt like until the moment she heard her boys

" Mama?" Aurora felt a straight chill go up her back, as she turned to look at her angel boy, he stood there looking at her, a shocked look on his face and his curly blonde haired was all fuzzy and frizzy from the hot weather, but god was she glad to see him, she felt as though her legs didn't work as she tried to run to him, she got about halfway there before she dropped to the ground

She could barely see through her blurry tear filled eyes, but somehow she could still see her golden guy, he was like a ray of sunlight

"Mama!" he said as he fell into her arms, Aurora wrapped her arms around her boy, holding him so close she almost felt as though she was crushing him, she breathed in his scent, while yes he was smelly, she felt as though it was the best scent she had ever smelt, she could feel his small arms squeezing around her neck, restricting her breathing, but she would let him hold her like that forever if she could, her boy, her little miracle, her best friend, her favorite reason to live

" Rory?", she opened her eyes to see her little brother start running towards her, a big grin on his face as he giggled out a loud laugh, she grinned widely as she felt her dry crusted lips crack.

the small girl stood up, her arms still holding onto Finn who refused to let go, and scooped up her baby brother, holding him just as close, she could see the other camper smiling at them like they could feel Aurora's happiness, which they could, just by looking at her bright face.

"Mama you died, you died!" sobbed out Finnick as she kissed his curls and soft cheek, she turned around as she heard doors slam and saw her father running towards her, dropping behind the girl and scooping them all up, they looked like a big mess of Grimes, Aurora was sitting on her father's side, while Carl sat on both his father and sisters lap, whereas Finn was still clinging to his mother, Aurora looked up at her father, both of them teary-eyed as he placed a kiss to his daughters head.
