As Rory got to the front of the RV, she saw what everyone was upset about, hundreds of abandoned cars sat in the middle of the street like a graveyard, Aurora felt her chest get heavy, so many families, so many parents, couples and kids who thought they had a chance to live, is that how she was going to end up?

She placed her hands on Glenn's shoulders comfortingly as Daryl turned his motorbike around, motioning them to follow him through, things were going smoothly until a loud bang sounded and smoke came out from under the bonnet

" I said it didn't I, thousands of times, dead in the water," complained Dale as he adjusted his bucket hat.

" Problem Dale?" sassed Shane, Rory somewhat heard Glenn mutter a quiet "you" before he turned to Rory to send a wink her way, which he failed miserably, instead it looked like he had a bug in his eye, Rory sucked her lips in to hold off the laugh that was threatening to bubble out her lips.

" just a small matter of being stuck in the middle of nowhere, with no hope of..." he said as he watched Daryl rifle through a car "Okay that was dumb," he finished as he let out a sigh

" if you can't find a radiator hose here, there's a whole bunch of stuff we can find," said Daryl as he pulled random items out of the boot of the car

" I can siphon more fuel from these cars for a start," said T-dog as he wandered off

" maybe some water?" questioned Andrea

"Oh god I would kill for some beef jerky," called out Klaus as he skipped off in search of some food

" This is a graveyard," Said Lori, her tone heavy letting Aurora and the others know she wasn't entirely comfortable " I don't know how I feel about this,"

Rory tuned in to look at the older women, her eyes squinting in the sun, everyone went silent, as though they were either feeling the same as Lori or secretly judging her for saying a thing like that when they had no other option

" Lori if we don't eat, then we'll join every other family here, sometimes we have to do things we don't like so we can survive," Said Aurora walking away, " Kids don't wander, stay close," she called out before making her way to cars
