" what the hell happened to you," questioned Rick once he separated from the hug with his daughter, his face was angry and red, nearly making Rory cower away.

" Ed decided he wanted to take up a boxing career," said Rory shrugging, when it came to difficult discussions, she couldn't help but make jokes, even if it wasn't exactly appropriate

" Ed did this," he asked moving a stray hair out of her face as he bent down, looking at her face closely as his anger increased with every new mark he noticed.

" yeah but then Shane beat his a-" Finnick stopped talking and sucked his lips in, as he looked at his mother guiltily, Rory gave him a disapproving look.

" yeah, well that ain't enough," said Rick as he started marching away, Rory followed her father, grabbing his hand and trying to stop him

" Dad, dad it's done, it's over," she tried saying, holding him back as best as she could, but nothing was stopping angry Rick, who only wanted one thing, revenge for his daughter

Bellamy had been watching the scene unfold with a frown on his face at the girl trying to stop her father, Bellamy saw no reason as to why Ed should be spared, he deserved to get his ass beat by the girl's angry father, he watched closely as Glenn and Klaus joined in the scene, Klaus talking with Rick as Glenn hugged Rory, his face going from confusion to anger in a split second once he had registered the girls bruised face, Daryl had made his way towards the group also, making Bellamy furrow his eyebrows even more ' what's he getting involved for?,' thought the younger Dixon brother as he too walked toward the scene

" don't need to bother about beating Ed's ass, the walkers got him," he said, with his hand resting on his hip. Rory, who had one hand on her father's chest and the other pointing at him, sank, not to the ground or anything dramatic like that, but her shoulders sank, as did her brows, eyes, and jaw, Bellamy had been watching her close enough to notice the small change

it was an odd reaction from someone who had just been beaten up by the man. Rory stared at Daryl, her eyes searching for any traces of a lie

" are you sure?" she asked, her voice soft and shaky

" am I sure, go look for yourself," Daryl growled as he rolled his eyes walking away, Bellamy stayed for a few moments, staring at the girl, she seemed guilty, it wasn't her that killed Ed, why should she be guilty? hell nobody else seemed to care that Ed was dead; well nobody except Carol and Sophia, so why did Rory care?

"it's not your fault," said Glenn as he sat down next to Aurora, who was currently on watch on top of the tall RV, she turned to him with her eyes teary, Glenn didn't know if it was from the throbbing pain caused by her bruises littering her face, the death of a friend she had recently made, the death of Merle, or the death of the asshole who beat her, or maybe it was all the death that had effected the group in such a small amount of time.

"I know," she lied quietly, her voice shaking, Glenn knew she blamed herself, she always did

" do you, because it seems to me like you don't," he said accusingly, Rory let out a deep breath and looked out onto the field, the morning sun was peaking out over the trees and was making it hard to look at without squinting, but it was easier than looking at the face of her best friend, for she knew if she looked too long, she would break down and tell him everything that was upsetting her.

she wouldn't let herself do that, Glenn had too much to deal with, and she didn't want to risk distracting him, but she also knew if she didn't say anything soon, Glenn would go get Klaus, who would have gotten it out if her it a much more annoying way.
