Cherokee Rose
Before the Apocolypse, Rory had never really gone to many funerals, the only ones she went to were out of respect, for people she barely knew, much like now
she was now collecting stones to build Otis's grave out of respect. She had never even met the man
unfortunately, due to the earlier days' events, she hadn't had the opportunity to shower or change, sweat and dirt covered her face and she knew for sure she smelled, which is why, instead of focusing on building the grave and her gross appearance, she was too busy focusing on Bellamy, and what the fuck happened the night before, of course, she and Bellamy had talked before, but never in the way they did last night.
"fucking Klaus," she muttered, not meaning to speak out loud, Bellamy paused slightly looking at her with a raised brow.
"what's he done now," he asked, picking up a large boulder and throwing it in the wheelbarrow, a deep grunt leaving his throat as he did so, making Auroras' cheek heat up, thankfully, before Rory had to worry about making up an excuse, the sounds of motorbikes and engines sounded in the distance

" How is he?" asked Dale, bringing Aurora in for a quick hug
" he'll pull through, thanks to Hershel, and his people," explained Lori, gesturing to Hershel who was standing nearby with his family.
" and Shane, we'd have lost Carl if not for him," everyone turned to look at Shane, who had gotten a new style
if Rory was honest she would say he looked like Mr. Potato Head, when she first saw him that morning, she genuinely thought she would have an aneurysm from the shock of it, Klaus leaned down close to Rory, a grimace on his face
"Why?" was the only thing that came out of his mouth as he stared at Shane, and nothing would have been more appropriate, because seriously, why?
Carol collected Rory in a hug, her whole body shaking, Aurora wondered whether or not she had stopped since Sophia first ran.
"How did it happen?" asked Dale, his large brows creased
" a hunting accident, just a stupid hunting accident," explained Rick taking a glance at the stone repaired for Otis, Otis was a good man, sacrificing himself for a little boy he didn't even know, and for that, Rory would forever be in a debt that she couldn't repay.

Blessed be God, father of our lord, Jesus Christ. Praise be to him for the gift of our brother Otis, for his span of years, for his abundance of character; Otis, who gave his life to save a child's, now more than ever, our most precious asset. We thank you, God, for the peace he enjoys in your embrace. He died as he lived, in Grace.
