"Where did you get this stuff?" asked Rick looking into the back of the car to see tubs and tubs of supplies surrounding Klaus, Aurora grinned proudly as she glanced at her father

" Lots of spare time on your hands in an apocalypse, figured it all would be handy to have, especially when we find the others," answered Aurora, chewing on her nails with her feet up on the dash, she was very surprised Rick hadn't told her off for it yet

"Honestly Rick... did you really think I could last this long without going shopping, it's in my blood," said Klaus leaning forwards between Rory and her father, a leopard print eye mask on the top of his head ( that he refused to leave without, claiming it was absolutely necessary for his survival)

The trio had left the police station early the next morning, not wanting to burn daylight, they offered for Duane and Morgan to follow, but they said no, claiming they would catch up if they decided to change their mind, which prompted Rick to hand him one of the many walkies Aurora had found

' Shit," Rory muttered sitting up and seeing the path to the city completely blocked off by abandoned cars, even with the large amount they had traveled, it would still take days on foot, ignoring the disapproving look Rick gave her for her language she glanced back at Klaus grimly.

"Well then looks like we are going on foot," said Rick moving to get out of the car.

" I'm sorry what, no, we can't, what about all the supplies? we can't leave them,' said Klaus, making Rory nod in agreement

" Dad c'mon, there has to be another way around," she said winding down the window and looking for car-free space they could get through

"There isn't, look just pack everything you can fit and we will hide the car in the woods, who knows we might be able to come back for it," Rick ordered as he stepped out of the car and walked to the boot

" all those hours of hunting for nothing I guess," stated Rory as she followed her father, opening the door for Klaus.

" no no, not for nothing, I still have this sexy black coat," he said dramatically as he pulled it out of the back seat, he had been previously using it as a blanket, claiming that it was multi-purpose, neither Rory nor Rick were stupid enough to try and get Klaus to part with the coat, so they just let it be, it's the little things in a life like this that will keep you going, and in Klaus's case, it was a coat

nearing 20 minutes later, the three were packed, Rory and Klaus had one bag each, that was nearly the size of them, and Rick had two, one filled with the same things as the two young adults, toiletries, clothes, food, first aid, and little sentimental things, while the other was filled with guns and ammo- Rory's preferred bag.

After Rick had learned the hard way, that the farm they had found no longer had any living people in it, his first plan was ruined, the plan was that Rick would ask to use the car and propose that they come with them to Atlanta, but now that the people and the car were both dead, they had to come up with a new plan, which is why Rory and Klaus were sitting on a wooden fence watching her father talk to the horse like some sort of horse whisperer.

" Wow, I have always wanted to watch a horse whisperer in action," stated Klaus loud enough for Rick to hear, causing Rick to stick Klaus the bird

"Really not all that great, this one has a real bad attitude," he added after seeing the rude gesture Rick showed him, Rory laughed at the two, finding the whole situation amusing

"I will whisper this horse to kick you,' Said Rick quite literally whispering so as to not spook the horse.

" not too sure if that will work Dad, but please, by all means, try it, this is the best entertainment I have had all week," said Rory holding back her laugh as Rick finally slipped the rope around the horse's neck
