Chapter three

Liberty pov

2 days later

Ryder and the rest of the paw patrol are here. I'm very excited. It's been so long since me, Skye, and Everest had some girl time. I saw Skye getting out of the paw patroller and rushed over to talk to her.

"Hey Skye," I said

"Hey Liberty, how have you been" Sky asked

"I've been great, the city has been pretty quiet, but I made a new friend" I answered.

"Cool, who is she?" Everest said as she stepped off the paw patroller.

"It's a guy," I said, ignoring the smirks on their faces. "His name is Mason."

"Is he handsome?" teased Skye

"You would probably think so, he looks a lot like Chase." I teased right back.

"What! I no uh" spluttered Skye, trying desperately to defend herself, and failing.

"Come on Skye, we both know that you have a crush on him," said Everest

"Shh!" Skye shushed her "he might hear you."

"Hear what?" Chase asked, walking over to where we were talking.

Before Sky could answer, I said "I met a German shepherd like you chase, I wanted it to be a surprise." I explained.

"That's cool!" he said "It's been a while since I've seen another German shepherd!"

He walks off to talk to Marshall, satisfied with my answer.

"Thanks," said Skye quietly.

"You welcome" I responded.

"Hey!" Everest said "We should have a sleepover"

"Yeah!" me and Skye said at the same time.

"That would be fun!" I said

"Since both of you know about my crush, you will have to tell me yours," said Skye.

"Deal," said Everest.

"Let's talk to Ryder about it," I said, "I think he'd love the idea"

We ran over to Ryder, who was with Rocky and Zuma.

"Hey Ryder, can we have a sleepover?" Everest asked.

"Please" Skye begged, using the puppy eyes on him.

"Sure, that sounds like a great idea!" Ryder said.

Zuma, who had overheard our conversation, asked Ryder if the boys could have a sleepover too. "Pwease wyder?"

"Of course, the boys can have a sleepover too," Ryder said.

"Oh yeah dude," Zuma said, rushing off to tell the guys the good news.

"Let's go see if Mace wants to come to the sleepover" I suggested

"Yeah," said Skye

"I want to meet this mason guy," said Everest.

"Come on, let go," I said

We got to Mason's alley in a few minutes.

"Hey, Mace," I said as we stepped into the alley.

"hey, liberty."  mace said  

"Hi Mason," said Skye. "nice to meet you," said Everest

"This is Everest and Skye," I introduced.

"Hello," he said "We were planning on having a sleepover at the lookout, and the boys are having  one too, so I was wondering if you would like to come and get to know the rest of the paw patrol?" I asked

"Yeah, that sounds like fun" he answered, "When is it?"

"We were thinking tonight, maybe meet us at 6:30," I said

"Sure, I'll be there," he said

"Cool, see you then" I chirped

as we walked back to the lookout, Skye said "You weren't kidding when you said he looks like Chase"

"I know, right!" I responded "Maybe they're related or something"

"Maybe," said Skye
