Masons pov
It's been a week since I joined the paw patrol, and rocky and Ryder have been working on my uniform and gadgets. They've been waiting until they finished to show it to me,and it's finally ready.
Ryder reveals the finished suit, and I immediately love it. It's a army green body suit with segmented armor on the chest, back, and shoulders. It also had a bandoleer for flash grenades, smoke bombs, and detonator charges.
"It's bulletproof,fireproof,waterproof, and electric resistant" rocky explained
"If you need an edge in close combat or want to scale a wall,or even just need extra grip on the ground, you have claw boots you can activate." Ryder said
"At your gear station, you have various different gadgets you can put in your backpack, depending on the mission" rocky told me "and you can activate a gas-mask if needed"
I tried it on and tested the claw boot feature.
"Ruff, claw boots, activate" I said
The armor on the legs expanded and covered my paws, and then sprouted razor sharp 4 inch titanium claws.
"Awesome" I said "ruff, claw boots, deactivate"
I watched as the claws slid back into the boots and the boots folded up.
"Thanks guys, this is amazing" I said
"Hey mace, your new suit looks great"liberty said as she walked into the room
"Thanks liberty" I said, happy she liked it
"I realized I never got a chance to thank you for saving me, so, thank you" she said, hugging me quickly.
"Your welcome" I said, surprised and pleased by the unexpected hug.
"Paw patrol, to the lookout!" Ryder said
Liberty got her suit on and sat next to me to wait for everyone else.
Once everyone was here, Ryder briefed the mission.
"We have a hostage situation at the bank." Ryder explained "I'm going to need mason, chase, and Marshall. Mason, you need to sneak in and incapacitate the robbers. Chase, I need you to rescue the hostages and I need marshal to provide medical assistance if it comes to that. "
"Chase is on the case" the police dog said
I jumped into my new Humvee and we rushed over to the bank.we got there and chase formulated a plan.
"Mason, you climb up to the roof and sneak in from the roof acces. Once the robbers are out of the action, give me a signal, and Ill come in and help free the hostages. Marshall, you will come with me and check on them and see if they need medical attention."
"No matter the toll, I'm ready to roll" I said
"That's a cool catchphrase" said Marshall
"Thanks, I just thought of it on the way here" I responded "ruff, claw boots"
I climbed up the side of the bank building, and quickly located the access door, I tried it, but it was locked.luckily, I had come prepared.
"Ruff, detonator charge" I said
I attached one to each corner of the door, backed away and said "ruff, detonate"
The door blew off of it's hinges and I ran inside.
I heard voices downstairs, and snuck down to the first floor of the bank building. The voices became more clear as I got closer.
"Hey boss, don't worry, you'll have the money in no time" said the first voice, presumably talking to someone on the phone.then I heard the sound of a large vault door opening.
"Ruff, gas-mask activate" I said quietly, and the neck of my suit expanded and unfolded and in seconds, my face was covered by a military grade gas mask.
"I cracked the vault" said a second voice "you keep an eye on the hostages"
I had to act fast,I tossed a smoke bomb around the corner and rushed into the room.the two robbers I had overheard were passed out on the floor from the sleep gas that was mixed with the smoke. The hostages were also passed out, but I knew they would be fine.Using my combat knife to cut them free from the ropes that had held them, I then waited a few minutes for the gas to dissipate and then barricaded the door for chase and Marshall.
"What happened?" Marshall asked, seeing everyone on the ground.
"Sleeping gas,they'll be fine" I explained
"I should still check them for injuries" Marshall said
"Go ahead Marshall." said chase
Marshall checked them for injuries, and me and chase delivered the crooks to the police
