Me and everest are hanging out at her favorite restuarant at the mall, and while we wait for our food I finally work up the courage to ask her to the dance.
"Hey everest, I have something important to ask you" I said. So far so good
"Actualy, I asked you to come here because I need to ask you something" she said
"Ladies first" I said. Smooth
"No, you go first" she said
Wait. what? I wracked my brain, trying to remember what to do in this situation
She seemed to pick up on my confusion,and asked "why don't we both go first?"
"Okay" I said
"Will you go to the dance with me?" we both said at the same time
"Yes, I'll go to the dance with you" we said at the same time again
"Jinx!" she said "you have to pay for my drink"
"Gladly" I said "youll really go to the dance with me?"
"Yeah, Ive had a crush on you for as long as I can remember" she said back
"Same" I said, relieved that she felt the same way
"You had a crush on yourself?" she asked, looking confused
"I mean I had a crush on you for as long as I can remember" I explained
"I know what you meant, I was just teasing you" she said ,giggling
"Very funny" I said "so.... What next?"
"This" she said, kissing me on the lips
I kissed back, having waited for this moment for years, and it was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be.she pulled away and we stared at each other for a while.
"Ive looked forward to that for a very long time" she said
"Me too" I said
She leaned forward to kiss me again, and I met her halfway
meanwhile
ellas pov
Me and zuma were hanging out at the big park at the edge of the city, it was just the two of us, since everyone else was busy. I was gonna do it, I was going to ask zuma to the dance.
"Hey zuma" I said
"Yeah ella" he looked distracted, like he had something on his mind
Well, this should distract him.
"I was wondering, would you like to go to the dance with me?"
"Wait, really" he said, looking very suprised and happy "I would love to"
"If you don't mind me asking, why were you so distracted" I asked
"I was trying to figure out a good time to ask you to the dance" he said
"Well you don't have to worry about it, I was faster" I teased
"I do have something to show you though" he said
"What is it?" I ask
"You'll see it when we get there" he said, breaking into a run
I chased after him, and found him sitting on a high hill.
"Whos the fast one now?" he teased me
"Still me, you got a head start" I said, walking up the hill
"Wow, it's beautiful" I said, seeing the incredible sunrise
"Not as beautiful as you" he said
"Aww, zuma that's so sweet" I said
"I meant it" he said
I leaned over and kissed him. He was so suprised, we ended up rolling down the hill, my lips still locked against his.we laid at the botom of the hill for a while, neither of us daring to move. Finnally, we got up and dusted off the grass.
"I am so happy you did that" he said
"We need to get back to the lookout" I said, realizing how late it was
"Your right" he said, probably making the same realizations as me
We headed back to the lookout, excited about what tomorrow would bring
