Rewind 1 hour

Liberty POV

Me and the girls head upstairs to our sleepover area and me and Skye set up while Everest brought up some snacks.

"Okay, what are we doing first?" I asked

"You two have to tell me your crushes," said Skye

"Can't we watch a movie or something First," Everest said, clearly trying to delay the inevitable.

"Yeah, let's not skip straight to the main event right at the beginning" I reasoned

"Okay," Skye said, "what do you wanna do first?"

"Let play would you rather," Everest said

"Sounds fun" I replied

Skye got out the cards and picked up one from the top of the stack "Would you rather eat steak or chicken?" she asked

"Steak, " I said

"Chicken" Skye and Everest said

I grabbed a card and read it "Would you rather be able to speak flawless Spanish or French?" I asked." my Spanish could use a little work, but I hear French is tough to learn, so I think French, cause I would have an easier time learning Spanish"

"I have always wanted to learn French," said Skye

"I think it would be cool to be able to speak perfect Spanish," Everest said. she grabbed a card "Would you rather have your first kiss at a picnic or a dance?", "I say picnic, cause marshall at a dance sounds like a recipe for disaster." she then realized what she had just said. "Not that I want Marshall to be my first kiss or anything, that's crazy talk," she said unconvincingly.

"sounds like someone has a crush on Marshall." Skye said

"Yes, I have a crush on Marshal, just answer the question," Everest said,

"I think at a dance, cause I'm a party person, and my crush Is a great dancer," I said

"At a dance would be nice, but a sunset picnic by the ocean would be super romantic," Skye said.

Skye grabbed another card "Would you rather be in the Air Force or the Army?" "air force," she said

"I would be in the army," me and Everest said.

I picked up a card "Would you rather listen to Baby by Justin Beiber or You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift" I asked "I would choose baby every time "

"Where my Swifties at" said Skye

"I would pick Baby, too," said Everest

Suddenly, Skye's pup tag lit up and beeped. "Incoming call from Chase, would you like to answer?" it asked

"Yes," said Skye, "Hey Chase, whats up?" she asked

"Hey Skye, you're a wonderful pup, and I enjoy being around you," he said quickly, and then hung up.

"What was that about?" Everest wondered

"They are probably playing truth or dare down there," I said

"You're right, I shouldn't overthink it," Skye said, looking a little disappointed.

"Hey, I haven't told you about my crush yet," I said

Skye perked up immediately "Yes, tell me!"

"I have a crush on Mason" I admitted

"You have a crush on Mason?"Skye responded

I nodded.

"You two would be a cute couple," said Everest

"You think so?" I asked "I don't know if he likes me back though."

"I saw you sleeping on his shoulder during the movie," Everest said "It was so cute"

"I am just glad no one else noticed," I said, blushing at the thought.

Sky yawned "I'm exhausted," she said

"Yeah, it's getting late, we should go to bed" I replied

"Goodnight," said Everest

I drifted off to sleep, wondering if me and mason were actually a possibility.
