A couple days later, the mayor made an announcement on the news. To pay for the rebuilding of the city hall, the city was going to have a big fundraiser that would include an antique auction, a dunk tank, all kinds of fair games, and the thing I was most excited about, a valentines day ball.
"I bet I can beat you at the strong man hammer" mason said to chase
"You're on" said chase with a grin
"My moneys on chase" said skye
"No way, mason is obviously stronger" I said
"We'll see about that" she said with a smirk
Me, skye, and everest went to the same room we had our sleepover in.
"So,"said skye innocently "whos the lucky guy thats gonna be your date to the ball?"
"I could ask you the same thing" I said "are you gonna ask chase, or wait for him to ask you?"
"I mean, the guy usually asks, and he's got a whole week to do it, but if he doesnt, I will ask him" skye said
"We should all do it that way" everest said
"So it's a plan" I said "if the guys don't ask us before the week is over, we ask instead"
Meanwhile in the basement
Masons pov
Me and the guys had a meeting in the same room that we had our sleepover in.
"Everyone has a date in mind for the ball, right" I asked
"Yep, Im asking skye" said chase
"Im asking everest" said marshall
"I'm gonna ask gasket" said rocky
"Im asking ella" said zuma
"Ill ask liberty" I said "wait, how are you gonna get gasket and ella here?"
"We were gonna invite them to the fair and then ask them when they were here" rocky and zuma said
"Cool, are we all gonna ask them on friday?" asked chase
"That sounds good" marshall said, and the other pups nodded.
"Okay, it's a plan, everybody just act normal until then" chase said
Meanwhile, at adventure bay
Gaskets pov
Me and hubcap were arguing again.
"I have just about had it with you!" I said angrily
"Well, Im sick of you sabotaging us with your terrible plans!" hubcap yelled back
"Well, if your so sick of me, maybe I should just leave!" I retorted
"Maybe you should!" hubcap said
"I think I will! And don't come crawling back to me when you realize who the real brains of this pack is!" I shouted
I rode off on my motorcycle, unsure of where I would go. All of a sudden, I thought of rocky. He wouldnt mind me staying with him in adventure city. I called him on my communicator and after a few seconds, he answered.
"Hey gasket, whats up?" rocky said
"Hey rocky" I said "I got in a big arguement with hubcap, do you mind if I crash with you in adventure city for a while?"
"No, I don't mind at all, it will be great to see you again, when are you getting here?" he said
"I just left, so I should be there in a couple of hours" I replied
"Okay, great, Ill see you later" he said

I just want to say, I know that chapter may seem kind of weird, but I thought it would be funny if they had a strategy meeting for a dance
