POV - Author
Soon, they both stood for the seven pheras around the holy fire, and with each phera, Ranvijay promised to always stand by her, to have her back no matter what the situation. He vowed to love her, adore her, and cherish her. After the seven pheras were completed, Pandit Ji declared:
"Vivah sampan hua, Aaj se aap pati-patni hue," and everyone cheered aloud.
(The wedding is complete. From this moment on, you are husband and wife.)
Ranvijay noticed Anvi bending down to touch his feet, as it was a tradition in their culture for the bride to touch the groom's feet first. But before she could do so, Ranvijay stopped her by gently holding her shoulders. She frowned, but soon her frown turned into a beautiful smile, and her eyes became teary when she saw Ranvijay himself bending down to touch her feet.
"Rani sa aap Laxmi ka roop hai or hume humari Laxmi se pair chua kar apne upper paap nhi chadana hai"he said, and the young ones hooted with joy, while the elders were both surprised and happy to see him behave this way.
(Rani Sa, you are the incarnation of Lakshmi, and I cannot touch the feet of Lakshmi because it would be a sin)
Ranvijay gestured to Shekhar, who nodded and handed him a bundle of notes. Ranvijay took it and circled the notes around Anvi, performing a nazar ritual, before handing it back to Shekhar. "Give this to the servants," he instructed. The guests were stunned. They had never seen Ranvijay act like this before he had never shown such emotions.
Anvi was in shock, her eyes filling with tears as she witnessed his gesture. Ranvijay gently wiped her tears away. "Anvi, let's go. We haven't taken everyone's blessings yet," he said. She nodded, and he intertwined their hands. Together, they took blessings first from Pandit Ji, then from the rest of the family.

It was time for the Vidai. The atmosphere was filled with emotion. Anvi stood in front of her brother, both of them exchanging tear-filled glances. Aniket was the first to break the silence, pulling her into a tight hug as if his life depended on it.
"Anvi, don't go. We can call Ranvijay to Shekhawat Mansion, please don't go! What will I do without you? I'll be all alone. Please, don't go," Aniket said, tears streaming down both their faces.
"Abhi kya karu apko hi tha ki shaddi kar shaddi lo hogayi abhi Shanti se rehna n aap" Anvi replied.
(What can I do now? You were the one who insisted I get married. Well, it's done now. You need to stay calm and live peacefully without me)
"I was just kidding, yaar. I never thought you'd actually leave. I love you, always remember that. I'm not just your brother, I'm also your mother and father. So never hesitate to tell me anything. And if Ranvijay ever does something to hurt you, just let me know, and I'll handle it," Aniket said, kissing her forehead and wiping her tears.
"Take care of yourself," he added, but was interrupted by Ranvijay.
"I'm here to take care of her," Ranvijay said, and Aniket smiled, nodding. He gave Ranvijay a brotherly hug, and soon, they all left.
Ranvijay helped Anvi into the car and settled beside her. Anvi was still crying, and seeing her like this unknowingly hurt Ranvijay. He pressed a button, and a partition rose between the front and back seats. He pulled Anvi into his lap, making her gasp.
He kissed both her eyes, wiping away her tears. "Rani sa hum apki sundar ankhe tho dekh sakte h par inn sundar ankho ma aasu nhi dekh sakte" he said softly, kissing her forehead. A soft blush appeared on Anvi's face as she rested her head against his chest, smiling. Ranvijay wrapped his arms around her, securing her between them.
