Author POV:

The clock struck 4 p.m., and Anvi found herself sitting quietly in the garden, lost in her own thoughts. Ranvijay and Abhishek had left for an urgent matter at the office, leaving her alone with her musings. The stillness of the evening was broken by the sound of her mother-in-law's voice calling out to her.

"Anvi beta, there you are! I've been searching all over for you," Mahima said as she approached, a gentle smile on her face.

"Oh, Maa sa, if you needed something, you could have called me. I'd have come to you," Anvi replied, rising to give Mahima space to sit down.

"Beta, as your mother, I can at least come find my daughter," Mahima said with a warm smile, gently patting Anvi's cheek. "I came to tell you that your muh dikhayi ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., so you should go get ready."

Anvi nodded and stood up to leave, but Mahima stopped her. "Oh, and don't worry about the clothes; I've already picked out a saree and jewelry for you, and it's all in your room."

As soon as she heard the word "saree," Anvi's face fell slightly. She was still learning how to drape one, and it had only been Ranvijay's help earlier that had saved her from any mishaps. Seeing her expression, Mahima immediately understood something was wrong.

"What is it, beta? Is there a problem?" she asked with a concerned look.

"Woh, Maa, I... I don't know how to put on a saree very well," Anvi admitted, her cheeks turning pink with embarrassment.

Mahima was taken aback but quickly smiled, realizing the reason behind Anvi's blushing. "Anvi, don't tell me Ranvijay helped you put on a saree last time!" she teased, raising an eyebrow playfully. Anvi's blush deepened, confirming her suspicions. Mahima chuckled, the affection evident in her voice. "Well, well, I never knew my son could help someone with a saree! But i can see nice progress means soon i will become a grandmother"

"Ah, Maa sa!" Anvi said, hiding her face in embarrassment and hurrying inside, leaving Mahima chuckling behind her.

As the hour approached, Mahima helped Anvi dress in the red saree she had chosen. Anvi kept her makeup minimal and let her hair fall in soft waves, her natural beauty shining through. When she finally descended the stairs, she was greeted with awe.

"Oh my goodness, Bhabhi sa, you look so stunning!" Anika exclaimed, her eyes wide with admiration

"Oh my goodness, Bhabhi sa, you look so stunning!" Anika exclaimed, her eyes wide with admiration.

"Really, Bhabhi sa, you look beautiful! If you had a younger sister, I'd marry her on the spot," Ansh joked, making everyone laugh. Soon after, Anvi was guided to the couch where the guests awaited her.

---------

As the *muh dikhayi* ceremony went on, the women admired her beauty, but one voice cut through the pleasant atmosphere.

"Honestly, I heard she's bad luck," said Mrs. Shah. "Apparently, her parents died on her birthday, leaving her orphaned. Mark my words, it won't be long before Ranvijay leaves her too."

Silence blanketed the room, then was shattered as Mahima rose, her voice dangerously cold. "I dare you, Mrs. Shah, to say another word. Insulting my daughter-in-law in my house? I won't hesitate to put you in your place."

Ansh stepped forward, gripping Anvi's hand, anger flaring in his eyes. "How dare you call her unlucky? Our Bhabhi sa has a family us. And if you can't see that, then maybe you're the one who's blind," he said before guiding Anvi upstairs to her room.

--------

Meanwhile, Ranvijay had finally wrapped up his work and was eager to return home. He'd picked out a bouquet of roses for Anvi, picturing the smile it would bring to her face. When he arrived, the silence in the house felt unsettling, and he quickly made his way upstairs. As he entered their room, he found it empty and dark, but he soon heard soft sobs coming from the balcony.

Following the sound, he found Anvi curled up on the swing, her face buried in her hands as she cried. Not wasting a moment, he swept her up into his arms, carrying her gently into the room. Anvi flinched, but as soon as she saw it was him, she broke down completely, clinging to him like a lifeline.

Ranvijay's heart ached as he held her, feeling each of her tears like a stab. "Shh, it's okay meri jaan" he whispered, rubbing her back to comfort her. "Whoever made you cry like this will regret it."

"Jay, you won't leave me, right?" she sobbed. "Everyone says I'm bad luck... that my parents died on my birthday, and you'll leave me too. Jay i was just 10 year old girl it was not my fault i am saying truth believe me please jay .I can't lose you too"

The pain in her voice shattered him. He took her face gently in his hands, wiping her tears"Shh bas jaan Rona band kare mujhe pata hai aap nahi ho badnaseeb balki aap tho lucky charm ha meri lucky charm you know itee time se ek bhoot important deal atki hui thi or dekhe aapke aane se ajj woh deal bhi finalize hogayi or aap ko hum aise hi thodi jaan bolte hai aap jaan hai sach ma humari apko chodenge tho hum jite ji mar jayenge or abhi Hume Shanti se bataye kya hua ha"he said with a small smile

(Shh, stop crying, my love. I know you're not unlucky; you're my lucky charm, my true lucky charm. You know, there was an important deal that had been stuck for so long, and just look- since you came into my life, it finally got finalized today. And do you think I'd call you *my life* for nothing? You really are my life. If I ever lost you, I'd feel like a part of me had died. Now, please, calmly tell me what happened.)

Anvi started describing the evening incident and once she was complete Ranvijay hugged her tightly while comforting her.He was burning in rage after hearing how Mrs Shah has insulted his wife but soon his angry face changed into a smirk when an evil plan crossed his mind.

Soon after anvi stopped crying she lifted her face from his chest and looked into his eyes "Thank you, Rana sa" she whispered, looking down at his shirt, which was wet with her tears. "I ruined your shirt," she added, biting her lip.

Ranvijay chuckled, his gaze darkening with a spark of mischief. "No worries Rani sa" he murmured, his voice low. "I'll just have to ruin your lips to make up for it." And with that, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a deep, lingering kiss that seemed to melt away all her sadness
