It was a tense and quiet car ride back to the Rathore Mansion. Ranvijay's cold silence toward Anvi made her heart ache, and the thick tension in the air kept the younger ones unusually reserved. No one dared utter a word, aware of Ranvijay's simmering anger. The fear of being caught in the crossfire silenced even the most talkative among them.

As the car came to a halt in front of the grand mansion, everyone hurriedly stepped out, their movements rushed as if to escape the suffocating atmosphere. Anvi, however, lagged behind, lost in her thoughts. The words Ranvijay had spat at her before leaving the restaurant played in a continuous loop in her mind.

She could sense the jealousy in his voice, but his anger felt baseless. It wasn't her fault a passing childhood memory of a crush had come up. She sighed, her heart heavy, as she climbed the steps. Her thoughts consumed her so completely that she didn't notice the uneven stone ahead.

A small yelp escaped her lips as she stumbled, bracing herself for the harsh collision with the ground. Instead, she found herself caged in strong, familiar arms. Slowly opening her eyes, she was met with Ranvijay's dark, furious gaze. His muscular arms held her firmly, and the proximity made her heart race.

"Can't you even walk properly? Have you gone blind, Rani Sa?" he roared, his voice echoing across the mansion's grand entrance. The younger ones froze mid-step, flinching at the force of his anger.

Anvi, however, knew just how to handle her grumpy husband. Flashing him her sweetest smile, she replied, "Ha kya karu jabse apse shaddi ki hai apke pyaar mai andhi jo ho gayi hu"

(What can I do, Rana Sa? I've been blinded by your love since the day we married.)

Her boldness made the youngsters break into cheers and laughter, which quickly died down under Ranvijay's lethal glare. They all scampered inside. leaving the couple behind.

Ranvijay set her down gently but scowled. "Stop saying ridiculous things, Rani Sa. And stop letting your head get filled with thoughts of *him*. Walk carefully next time. I won't always be around to catch you."

He turned on his heel and stormed into the house, leaving Anvi standing on the steps. She smiled to herself, knowing his possessiveness was his way of showing love, but she still needed to find a way to ease his jealousy.

------------

Dinner was a lively affair, with the youngsters chattering and joking as they filled their plates. Anvi, however, barely touched her food, her gaze drifting toward the empty chair Ranvijay usually occupied.

"Bhabhi Sa, where are you going? Aren't you eating?" Abhishek asked, noticing her getting up.

"You all eat. I'll go call Rana Sa. He hasn't come down yet." she replied with a soft smile.

Aniket, munching on a piece of bread, shook his head. "Don't bother, Anvi. I doubt he'll come. He's still in his 'angry bull' mood."

Anvi sent him a glare. "Whose fault is that? Why did you even bring up that crush at the table? You know how possessive he is! Now, because of you, I have to deal with his tantrum."

"Aree sorry meri maa abb ja apne pati parmeshwar ko khane ke liye bula kar la" he replied while passing her a wink making her more nervous.

(Hey, sorry, my dear! Now go and call your dear husband to come eat,)

"Anika yrr tu chale ja bulane tujhe kuch nahi bolenge" anvi said while giving her, her famous puppy face.

(Anika, please! You go call him. He won't say anything to you)

"Nhi Bhai nhi bhabhi sa mujhe mat kaho bhooke Sher ke samne kon jayega aap hi jao mujhe unka target nahi banna hai" she replied while horror was visible on her face anvi turned her gaze and others quickly ducked their heads, murmuring, "All the best, Bhabhi Sa. You've got this!" before resuming their meal. Anvi huffed in frustration but made her way upstairs.

(No way, Bhabhi Sa! Don't even ask me. Who's going to approach the sleeping lion? You go yourself. I don't want to become his target)

----------

Taking a deep breath, Anvi opened the door to their bedroom. Darkness greeted her, save for the faint glow spilling in from the balcony. Stepping inside, she locked the door and noticed Ranvijay standing outside, his broad silhouette framed by the moonlight.

"Rana Sa," she called softly, approaching him. "Why are you standing here? Come down and eat something."

He didn't respond, his face unreadable. Anvi settling herself on his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in until their faces were inches apart."Come have dinner, Rana Sa,"

"I don't want to eat," he replied in a grumpy voice, trying to remove her hands.

"Rana Sa, please stop being angry. It was just a silly crush that lasted a week, and I was a child back then. Why are you getting so jealous?" she asked, making a puppy-dog face.

Ranvijay's jaw tightened. "Why shouldn't it bother me? You blushed-*blushed*-talking about someone else, Rani Sa. Do you expect me to stay calm? I'm your husband, and I've told you before: I don't share what's mine. You are *mine*. My wife. My most prized possession."

His intense gaze sent shivers down her spine, but Anvi didn't waver. She cupped his face and smiled gently. "You know, jealousy is a sign of love. It shows how much someone cares. But being angry and skipping meals isn't fair, Rana Sa. Please come eat." sighed and stepped closer, surprising him by

"I'm not hungry," he grumbled, trying to avoid her pleading eyes.

"Fine, stay hungry then," she said with a dramatic huff, attempting to get off his lap. Before she could, he grabbed her waist and pulled her back, his lips crashing onto hers.

The kiss was fierce, filled with possessiveness and passion. Anvi's initial shock melted away, and she kissed him back with equal fervor. His lips moved with a desperation that spoke volumes he needed her to know she was his, and only his.

When he finally pulled back, both of them were breathless. Ranvijay rested his forehead against hers, his voice husky as he whispered, "Jaan, I told you I don't want to eat *that* food. I want you. You're my most special, most delicious meal."

Anvi's cheeks turned crimson, but before she could respond, he captured her lips again, lifting her effortlessly and carrying her toward the bed.
