Six Months Later
It had been six months since Anvi and Ranvijay discovered that Anvi was pregnant. Currently ,Anvi was entering her ninth month, and her pregnancy had become a significant concern for everyone, especially for Ranvijay. Her health had been deteriorating day by day, which caused him a great deal of worry. Along with that, her mood swings were through the roof. Ranvijay, being the patient and loving husband he was, happily bore the brunt of her unpredictable cravings and emotions.
Her baby bump had grown so large that when she walked, the younger members of the family often teased her, saying she walked like a penguin. But despite the teasing, Ranvijay was fiercely protective of her. He had made it very clear to her that if the time ever came for him to choose between her and the babies, he would choose her without a second thought. However, Anvi being Anvi, adamantly disagreed with him. She had already fought with everyone to keep the babies, refusing to consider abortion, even though everyone, including Ranvijay, was worried about her decision. But no one could change her mind; she was determined.
This month also saw the engagement of Abhishek and Shanvi, as well as Aniket and Radhika. Both couples had received proposals, and the wedding functions were set to begin the next day. Though everyone initially planned to hold off on the ceremonies until after Anvi's delivery, Anvi had firmly disagreed. "If I wait until after the delivery, I'll have two little devils to take care of, and I won't be able to enjoy the functions," she had argued. After much debate, everyone reluctantly agreed.
But today, Anvi had moved to Shekhawat Mansion, much to Ranvijay's displeasure. He hadn't wanted her to leave the Rathore Mansion, but after a lot of emotional blackmail, Anvi had finally convinced him. Still, he sulked at the thought of being away from her. She, however, had insisted, "Rana Sa, my brother is alone there, and I need to help him. Here, everyone needs you, so you should stay."It was 3 a.m., and Anvi was trying to sleep.
*Keyword - Trying.*
She deeply regretted her decision to send Ranvijay away. She was used to cuddling him while she slept, but tonight her cuddle bear was nowhere to be found. She had even brought one of Ranvijay's shirts with her to use as a substitute, but it wasn't helping. The comforting scent of him on the pillow wasn't enough to soothe her.
To make things worse, her nine-month baby bump had grown so large that it was difficult for her to find a comfortable sleeping position. She sighed as she lay awake in bed, feeling the emptiness of his absence.
Suddenly, she heard some faint sounds coming from the balcony. Startled, she jumped up, cradling her baby bump with one hand while grabbing a nearby flower vase with the other.
With slow, careful steps, she moved towards the balcony, ready to defend herself. As she reached the door, she raised the vase to strike, but before she could react, she was pinned to the wall.
"Thief! Thief-" she tried to scream, but a hand quickly covered her mouth.
"Shhh... Jaan, it's me, your Rana Sa," the so-called "thief" said with a chuckle. It was none other than Ranvijay Singh Rathore himself.
"Rana Sa! You?" she gasped, her shock turning into disbelief.
"Yes, Rani Sa, I'm your husband, Ranvijay Singh Rathore, not some thief!" he said, his face was filled with mock surprise. If he hadn't caught her hand at the right moment, the vase would have been smashed into his face by now.
"Rana sa yeh kya harkat thi aise choro ke tarah kon aata h adhi raat ko" anvi shouted at him while giving him death glares for making her scared
(Rana Sa, what on earth were you thinking? Coming here like a thief in the middle of the night!)
"Choro ki tarah kaha aya, Mai toh fictional men's ke tarah aaya aise hi toh apke fictional men's karte hai n right?"he replied while making an innocent face making her all anger melt
(I didn't come like a thief. I came like the fictional men in stories, sneaking in like they do, right?)
"Ugh, I missed you so much. I can't sleep without you. You've made such a terrible habit of being around me all the time," Anvi complained, wrapping her arms around him tightly as she sniffed his familiar scent.
"Well, you insisted on staying here by yourself, didn't you? Look, I even caught a fever from missing you," he said, his tone light, as he gently lowered her onto the sofa. and started to rub her baby bump soothingly, trying to comfort her.
"Meri yaad mai ki bacho ki yaad mai or kitte juthe ho koi fever nahi ha apko"she said, narrowing her eyes playfully at him. The smile on Ranvijay's face grew wider as he leaned down to kiss her forehead.
(In my memory or in the babies' memory, how much more will you lie? You don't have a fever.)
"Anyway, I'm hungry," Anvi said, laying her head on his chest, playing with the buttons of his shirt.
"Hungry, huh? What do, my jaan, and our little devils want to eat?" he asked, giving her a teasing smile, fully aware of her mood swings and cravings.
"Pani puri," she said with a mischievous grin.
"Jaan, you just had some yesterday," he said, pretending to be stern, but she began to pout, her face turning into the cutest frown ever which was an indication of crying.
"Okay, okay! Fine, no more pouting. I'll get you whatever you want," Ranvijay said, letting out a sigh. He quickly stood up, but Anvi grabbed his hand.
"No, I want to go with you," she said, extending her arms toward him, a pleading expression on her face. The pregnancy had made her even more adorable, and Ranvijay couldn't resist.
"Alright, alright. Let's go," he said, smiling as he scooped her up in his arms.

In the kitchen, Ranvijay was making dough for the pani puri while Anvi sat on the counter, chattering away, telling him about her day. He was listening attentively, nodding at her cute antics, when Aniket walked into the room.
"What the hell are you doing in my house? And how did you get in?" Aniket asked, glaring at Ranvijay.
"It's not just your house, it's Anvi's house too. And why should I tell you how or when I came in? You're not my wife," Ranvijay replied, glaring back at him.
"Stop with the staring contest, both of you," Anvi interjected, rolling her eyes. "Bhai, you help him out. I'm starving. Hurry up!" she said, looking at them both with a pout.
"Okay, baby. Don't yell. Your blood pressure will go up. I'm helping your silly husband," Aniket said, but was immediately met with a flying potato from Anvi.
"Don't you dare call my husband silly," she warned, glaring at him, making him gulp. Ranvijay couldn't help but chuckle at the scene unfolding in front of him.
"Don't laugh too much, and tell me how you got inside the house." Aniket warned as he wiped the potato off his face.
"Choro ki tarah balcony chad kar aye tha Maharaj" anvi answered making him shock
(He climbed the balcony like a thief)
"What seriously!!! Yeh toh kal front headline honi chahiye newspaper ki RAJASTHAN KE MAHARAJ NE APNI BIWI SE MILNE KE LIYE CHORO KI TARAH BALCONY SE GHAR KE ANDAR GHUSSE" aniket said while laughing and getting another potato smack on his face
(What, seriously?!!! This should be tomorrow's front-page headline: 'The Maharaj of Rajasthan entered his house through the balcony like a thief to meet his wife,)
