POV - Author

It's been a week since that incident at the club. Currently, Ranvijay was back in Delhi for work-related issues, which only added to Anvi's frustration. She hadn't spoken to him in five days and had no idea when he would return.

All the young people were gathered in the garden, gossiping. "Radhika di, are you really going to the event tonight with Ranveer? Does Aniket bhai know?" Shanvi asked Radhika, who was planning to go to an event with Ranveer, her male childhood friend.

"Of course, I'm going! And why would I need his permission? No one can stop me," Radhika replied with a huff.

"Where are you going, and what's this about needing permission?" Aniket asked, entering the lawn and settling next to Anvi, who playfully smacked him when he tugged her hair.

"I'll tell you, bhai," Anika began, but Radhika cut her off.

"Nobody's telling him! And why should we?!" Radhika said, giving Aniket a pointed look.

"Then who will you tell me jaan?" Aniket asked, leaning forward with a mischievous grin, resting his face on his hand and making everyone cheer.

"Oho, bhai, I didn't know you could be so romantic!" Shanvi teased, smiling.

"Well, of course! He's a Shekhawat, not a Rathore!" Anvi chimed in, making the Rathore siblings narrow their eyes at her.

"Anvi, you keep forgetting that you married into the Rathore family. And what do you mean by Rathore, huh? Don't blame us for your husband's habits!" Kunal retorted, glaring at her.

"Oh, I haven't forgotten. Soon enough, I'll divorce your brother! With the kind of habits he is of staying at office, I won't stay with him," Anvi replied, exasperated.

"Haww, bhabhi sa! Don't do that-what will happen to our bhai sa?" Ansh teased, sitting next to her with a puppy-dog look.

"You're all so unfair, caring only for your bhai sa and not for me," Anvi grumbled, brushing his hand off.

"Alright, bhabhi sa. Forget them and come with me. Maa sa called and asked me to give you a tour of the office as both a daughter-in-law and a daughter of the Rathore family," Abhishek said, getting up from his seat.

"Oh, okay. Give me five minutes; I'll go change," she replied and dashed off to her room.

"So, jaan, you still haven't told me where you're going," Aniket teased Radhika again, earning another glare.

"I'm not telling you," Radhika said, turning her head away.

"Oh, so are you telling your precious chachundar friend instead?" Aniket shot back, making everyone laugh.

"Excuse me! First, his name is Ranveer, and second, yes, I'll tell him, not you!" Radhika replied angrily.

"Then you might need to head to the graveyard to talk to him," Aniket said, catching her attention.

"What do you mean by that, Ani?" she exclaimed.

"Simple, bhabhi bhai killed him," Shanvi chimed in, casually munching on chips.

"You wouldn't dare!" Radhika said, shaking Aniket, who didn't budge.

"Too late the bird's already flown," Ansh joked, earning a flying sandal straight to his face from Radhika.

--------

"Abhi, let's go. I'm ready," Anvi said, entering the garden in a powder blue saree paired with a white blouse. She had skipped makeup, not wanting to keep Abhishek waiting.

"Wow, bhabhi sa, you're looking hot!" Ansh commented, while Anika and Shanvi whistled.

"Bhabhi aap kahi bhool tho nahi Rahi ho ki bhai sa office mai nahi hai? or balki male staff apko dekh kar fidaa ho jayega" Anika said while giving her a wink

(Bhabhi, are you forgetting that bhai sa isn't in the office today? The male staff will be swooning!)

"If anyone dares, they'll have to deal with us. Nobody messes with our bhabhi," Ansh said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder's possessively. Abhishek nodded, doing the same.

"My little Lakshman and Bharat, let's get going- we're running late," Anvi said, side-hugging both of them. Meanwhile, Aniket watched them with a warm smile, happy to see his sister finally receiving the love she deserved.

"We're coming too! And you can't say no," Anika insisted, and with that, everyone decided to join.

--------

Soon, they arrived in front of Rathore Enterprises, a magnificent building. Anvi looked up at the structure, which stood tall and proud, reflecting the hard work her husband had put into building it from the ground up.

"Bhabhi sa, wait here for a second," Abhishek said, signaling to his assistant, who quickly went to fetch something. While all the cousins stood inside, Anvi stood at the entrance, with Aniket behind her.

A young woman soon appeared carrying a pot filled with rice, an alta thali, and a cloth that she spread on the floor. Curious, the office staff watched the scene.

"Bhabhi sa, you're not only the goddess of our home but also of our office. Welcome to Rathore Enterprises, our very own Lakshmi," Abhishek said, and Anvi froze, tears streaming down her face.

"Bhabhi sa, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Please don't; if bhai sa finds out, he'll kill us!" Ansh exclaimed, as both Rathore brothers came forward, tugging their ears in apology.

"It's not your fault. I just got emotional," Anvi said, wiping her tears and shaking her head.

"Don't cry now! Alright, let's finish the ritual. Please, kick the kalash," Abhishek urged, and Anvi nodded, giving the pot a gentle kick. She then stepped forward, dipping her feet in alta and leaving footprints on the cloth.

The entire office was in awe of the Rathore siblings' love for their bhabhi. This small gesture spoke volumes about how much they cherished her.

"Come, bhabhi sa; now we'll show you the chairman's cabin-your husband's cabin," Abhishek said, opening the door.

Anvi walked in. mesmerized by the luxurious space. The office interiors were mostly black, reflecting her husband's personality. Opposite her was a glass wall that offered a stunning view of Udaipur, as the office was on the 60th floor.

"Bhabhi, come here and sit in the chairman's chair," Ansh said, guiding her to the seat.

"Do you know, bhabhi sa? Bhai sa never lets anyone sit in his chair. You're the first person he'd allow," Anika said, and Anvi felt something stir inside her.

"Alright, bhabhi sa, you've had the tour. Now tell us, when are you making us uncles and aunts?" Ansh asked, settling himself in front of her.

"Yes, bhabhi sa, please! We need a little one to play with and spoil," Abhishek added, trying to make a puppy-dog face.

"Tell your bhai sa to come back from his first wife first. Maybe then something will happen," Anvi replied with a huff.
