King
I slept the whole damn way to Phoenix because Doc was driving. It wasn't until we got there that he woke me up and I looked around.
"We've arrived, king," Doc said to me and got out of the car. The little motel we stopped at seemed to be a hovel, and I looked at Doc questioningly.
"Hey, don't say anything, Void found it. It's safe, no damn cameras... Not even people," Doc said as he unloaded the things from the car.
"And it looks damn uncomfortable," Duke added.
"Don't cry, trash boy, we're not here for vacation," Ace said as he walked past him and slapped him on the back of the head.
"I got us two double rooms. The cars are hidden behind the motel. Gears is currently changing the license plates again," Wrath said to me, and I nodded.
"We look like a damn boy band," I heard Duke complain as we entered the room.
We had to leave all our things at home. The Mc Cuts were our trademark, and we wore them every day, but we couldn't wear anything personal during an operation like this. Nothing should be traceable, and under no circumstances should we be able to prove our identity.
"I'm going to get some sleep," Doc said as he came into the room.
"Everyone who hasn't had any sleep should rest," I told the men and they nodded.
Duke sat in front of the television with Storm and stuffed himself with food.
"Happy birthday," I said to him as I stood by the window.
"Awww, you haven't forgotten," Duke said to me as he looked at me batting his eyelashes.
"Yes, you've only mentioned it twenty times so far," Storm replied and I laughed.
"When this is over, I'll have a party at home. Lots of booze and women," he said laughing.
I shook my head, laughing, and looked out the window through the dirty curtains. I picked up my phone and sent Void a message. The phone seemed older than me, but he said it was safe and couldn't be found, so whatever.
'I'll send details as soon as I know something,' I read Void's reply, so all we could do was wait.
We spent the whole damn day in these rooms, alternating between eating and sleeping until the evening. When we got ready in the evening and put on the clothes we had from Tom, I lay on the bed and thought through the plan again.
"That's the real shit! From boy band Duke to lousy sexy secret agent guy !" I heard Duke brag as he looked at himself in the mirror.
Ace just shook his head, laughing, and said, "They should have left you in the trash can!" Our laughter was interrupted by my phone beeping, and I read the message “2 am Cotton.”
I gave the news to the boys, and they nodded. We still had a few hours left, enough to pack everything up and set off. It's not the first time we've done something like this, we knew how it went. In full gear with armor vests and balaclavas, we sat ready in the cars and watched from a side street hidden. Tom's people surrounded the building where the sale was to take place. I assume the buyers have arrived; otherwise, he wouldn't summon us here.
The agents moved very quickly and tactically, which is due to years of training.
"GO!" was on the screen when the message came from Void. "Let's go!" I said into the headset that connected the eight of us, and we got out of the cars.
We walked through the back gardens of the houses and mingled with Tom's people. When we were in position, Tom glanced at me and nodded.
"Go! Go! Go!" he shouted into his radio, and they stormed into the building from all sides. We ran after them and exterminated ourselves. The plan was to get the women and get them into the cars to disappear as quickly as possible.
"Get down! Don't move, FBI!" I heard the agents screaming as they pointed their guns at the men in the building.
I saw Ace and Duke running up the stairs with some of the FBI guys, and soon there was screaming and shots being fired.
"Holy shit!" I heard Duke scream into the headset.
"I have the women on the first floor!" Duke shouted into the headset.
The boys and I followed his instructions, and as we rushed up there, an FBI agent lay dead on the floor while others were shooting at someone. Duke and Ace were nowhere to be seen, and I got nervous.
"Where the heck are you?" I asked Duke.
"Where all the fun is!" He said, and I looked around the corner to see him and Ace taking cover behind a wall, and Duke shot one of the men.
"Go! Now!" I shouted, and Doc and Storm followed as we ran in and overpowered the remaining men. These fuckers don't know who they're shooting at.
"We have three," Duke shouted with Wrath at his side.
"I have two, too!" I heard Storm.
Ace pointed to a closed room, and I broke it open with my foot. As the door burst open, two women screamed, and I looked at them.
Jane! Fucking Jane! I recognized her from the photos Pete sent us, and she looked at me in shock.
"FBI! You're safe!" I called out to her, and she looked relieved.
"Help her!" Jane shouted as she pointed her finger at a woman's body tied to a pipe in the corner of the room. I nodded to Ace, and he immediately ran to the woman and freed her. He carefully took her into his arms and ran off. Jane gave me her hand, and she limped to the door, where I took her in my arms and carried her out.
"There are still men in there! Everyone go to the basement. Arrest them and secure everything! Go! Go!" I heard Tom shouting on the radio.
I was aware that he was giving us time to get the women out, and his go-go was directed at me. We ran as fast as we could to the cars with the screaming women. The action was still in progress when we drove away, and I heard Duke scream through the headset, "Yeah, baby, yeah!"
Doc just shook his head and laughed.
"Is everybody fine?" I asked into the headset.
After all my men answered positively, I heard Storm shout, "Two women are badly hurt, Doc!"
I had to drive out of town first, and after a while, I stopped, and Doc ran to Storm's car.
I sent Void a message and asked what now. We could not travel with them like this. He said Tom would come and get them, and this happened very quickly. Tom sped away in his car as we were carrying the injured girls into his SUV, and he just told me, "Get out of here as fucking fast as you can."
We drove through the night without saying anything, and the women seemed worried.
"We are nearly there!" I said to the women who looked at us fearfully.
Sitting in a car with strange men speeding down the street with police lights on didn't seem like much fun. But their safety was our top priority, so we ignored their questions. We didn't take off the balaclavas, and after a while, it became quiet, and the women calmed down after they realized that they were safe.
"I need a damn phone and a drink!" I heard Jane say, and I had to smile when I thought of Ivy.
As we drove closer to home, I felt more relieved.
“I'm sure no one followed you,” I read Void’s message. 'We'll be home in 1 hour. 5 are with us. 2 woman are injured.' I answered him.
"I damn well want to know why you're driving us to the ass of the world!" Jane shouted angrily.
I heard Duke laugh through the headset and was relieved as we soon drove along familiar streets. Doc had turned off the police lights when we got into our area and headed home safely. When I saw the gate of our community, I breathed a sigh of relief, and a “Home sweet Home” could be heard from Wrath. We drove into the barn and got out while I took off the balaclava. I don't think I even managed to turn towards the door when a petite woman's body hugged me running. When I looked down I saw Ivy crying in my embrace. She looked up at me, and her beautiful green eyes were full of tears and worries.
"IVY?" I heard Jane call.
She turned her head to Jane and stared at her aunt.
"Aunt Jane!" she shouted as she took the woman in her arms.
They hugged each other, and both cried as I stood next to them, and Bane ran in with Alice.
"Jane!" he matured, and she turned her head to him.
"Oh my God, Benjamin!" she cried when she saw him, and he took her in his arms.
"I'll go and take care of the others!" Doc said to me, and I nodded. I saw Alice and Doc leading the women with Evelyn towards the clinic, and Ace followed them carrying the once tied-up woman.
My eyes fell on Ivy as she turned to me. Her beautiful face was wet with tears, and her lip was trembling as she hugged me.
"You kept your promise!" she said sobbing.
"I told you I'd come back with Jane. I'll always come back to you," I said as I held her face and wiped the tears that were only growing.
"What the hell is going on here?" Jane asked, confused, as I kissed Ivy, and she put her arms around me.
