After the events of Alnus, the remaining Allied armies turned and ran with their tails between their legs.
Satoshi: *Groans* How many? Soldier: ... We killed over 300,000 men within a day... Satoshi: Do we have actual information on who our enemy is? Soldier: Well, one of the soldiers we captured finally broke and told us everything. They're called the Saderran Empire, an empire that lasted for 600 years. Satoshi: Hah! No wonder they're so arrogant when they attacked us... probably didn't get the memo that we aren't to be fucked with. Soldier: And our aerial units discovered what appears to be a fortress city. Should we dispatch some soldiers to scout the area and the best route to use? Satoshi: Yes, and I know who to give this assignment to.
In the command tent
Nate: You wanted to talk to me, Father? Satoshi: Listen, son... our aerial units have discovered a fortress city called Italica. I'm assigning a scouting party of 500 men with you. Nate: W-Wait... me, leading 500 men on my own?! Satoshi: Listen to me, Nathaniel.
Nate gulps, this is one of the few moments where his own father called him by his name.
Satoshi: I want you to scout ahead. Ensure that there is a plausible route that we can take without any interference from the enemy. Nate: I- Yes... Father... it will be done.
Back in the Saderran Capital
Royal Advisor: The vassal states arrived and have been annihilated... over 300,000 are estimated to be dead... Molt: This is troubling news... then... order the men to burn any farmlands and poison the wells from here to Alnus. Also, make sure that all the cattle will be herded here. Royal Advisor: A Scorched Earth policy? Then taxes will become our first priority after this war... Molt: This isn't favorable in the long run... but we have to.

If you want to help the Empire, now is your chance. Take your knights and protect the fortress city of Italica while also gaining information on the enemy's manpower. Piña: Y-You mean... my order of knights and I will go to the front? Molt: Of course, or is your Rose order of knights nothing more than a mere plaything of yours? Piña: ... It will be done, your majesty.
