Chapter Three

That night, I didn't sleep very well.

I dreamt that I was in some sort of void-ness.  Just as I could figure out what was happening, I heard a couple of loud screeches not unlike the one I heard Mikey's Rayquaza make earlier today far off in the distance somewhere.  I don't know why, but I decided to follow the noises.

I found out quickly that I was able to fly by launching myself.  So that's what I did to find the source of the noises.  A few minutes later, I stumbled upon two of the many legendary Pokémon of the Sinnoh region, Dialga and Palkia, duking it out.  I wanted to stop them, but I knew it was hopeless.  These two ancient beasts have been feuding for millennia.

As I watched the ongoing battle, I suddenly noticed a dark, mysterious figure that somewhat resembled Champion Mikey and another that resembled his own Rayquaza standing atop some still pieces of floating debris.  However, I was unable to get a closer look because right at that moment, I saw a bright light bursting from behind the two figures.

When the light faded, I could see two MORE legendaries fighting.  These two were Cresselia, the Pokémon of light, and Darkrai, the Pokémon of shadows.  I knew there was no way I could stop four powerful beings.  I was beginning to think our world was doomed.

After a while, all I could think was "Wake up!  Wake up!  I need to find help!"  As if it heard my thoughts, the legendary god itself, Arceus, came down from the heavens.  The two mysterious figures freaked out and flew off.  Arceus then roared with so much power that it made the other four Pokémon stop and turn away in fear.

What happened next was something I could have never thought possible.  Arceus looked directly at me and made a box materialize out of thin air and made it drift towards me.  I caught it, opened it, and couldn't believe me eyes. It turned out to be many mystical objects only heard of in legends: the thirteen plates of the creator.

Arceus nodded towards me, then sent me back to the regular world.

The next morning, I couldn't stop thinking about that dream.  It was so unreal.

When I got out of bed, I stepped on something hard. Pushing the pain aside, I almost fainted of shock. It was the SAME EXACT box that Arceus had given me in my dream! And there inside were the same exact thirteen plates of legend.
