Chapter Fourteen

This was our plan:

The first thing we needed to do was get more information from Team Night Sky's grunts by defeating them in battles.  That wouldn't be a problem for Cynthia, but the rest of us needed to train more, according to Professor Rowan's note.

The next step was to find this team's base of operations, which we'll hopefully be able to get the location by defeating some grunts.

We decided that if we were going to storm their hideout, we'd need more help.  So after finding the team's base, Dawn and I would try and find Mikey and Rowan's whereabouts if they aren't already at the base.  Meanwhile, Felix and Cynthia would wear Team Night Sky down so we could all get to their leader and take them out.

After taking out their leader, we'd have to find a way to stop Dialga and Palkia's feud.  I haven't told anyone, not even Felix, that I have the requirements to summon Arceus, and that it would find a way to stop the two.

If everything goes according to plan, we should be able to stop the rampaging Pokémon and save Sinnoh.  That's IF the first step even works.  And Felix and I still have to do this while progressing through our gym challenge.  I could not believe how much my life had changed in a couple of weeks!

I guess it all comes full circle, since I believe that Team Night Sky has been causing these rampages by controlling Dialga and Palkia and that my original mission was to find and stop whoever kept causing this chaos.  But for some reason, I have a bad feeling and I couldn't figure out why...

After the meet up with Dawn, Cynthia, and Felix, we parted ways to find and beat Team Night Sky grunts while also training up our Pokémon teams.  I really hope our plan works because if it doesn't, it could cause the downfall of not just Sinnoh, but the whole world as well! I thought as I made my way to Pastoria City to take on Crasher Wake.

While passing through Oreburgh, I could see that they had almost fully recovered from the rampage the other day.  I breathed with relief as I waved to Roark, who was fixing up one of the last remaining homes that were destroyed.  He smiled and waved back.

Making my way to Jubilife, I stumbled upon not just a Shinx (which is incredibly cute, by the way), but also some suspicious people who were whispering quietly to each other. I dashed up to them and challenged them to a battle.

"You won't get away this time. Go, Monferno!" I shouted at them. "I'll let you take care of this one," said one of the grunts. "Alright, fine. Go, Murkrow!" the other yelled.

"Start this off with Flame Wheel!" I said. "Night Shade," ordered the Team Night Sky minion.

A/N: Writing "Team Night Sky" so many times takes too long, so from now on, they're called TNS.

"Mach Punch, Monferno!" I yelled. "Dodge it, then use Wing Attack," he countered. "That does nothing. Fire Spin," I commanded.

"Argh! Murkrow, return," he complained. "Don't disappoint me Golbat!" "Oh, it's going to disappoint you all right. Take it out with Fire Spin," I said, smugly. "Supersonic!" countered the grunt.

"Monferno, are you okay?" I worried. "Try to snap out of it and use Mach Punch, please."

"Mon- Monferno," it said dumbly, swaying around. Luckily, it threw the punch at Golbat and not itself, winning the battle. "Great work, Monferno! You did it!" I exclaimed. "Alright dude, who are you working for?" I interrogated.

"Like I'd ever tell you," he said as he hopped on the back of a Pidgeotto and flew away with his partner.  "Get back here you thief!" I shouted after them, but it was no use.  "Escaped again!  I've gotta get some answers sooner or later," I grumbled angrily.

Nothing very interesting happened after that.  So I kept on the lookout for more Night Sky grunts and arrived at Pastoria City for my next battle against Crasher Wake.
