Chapter 16

Lucas's Pov
...

I don't remember the last time I was this happy,

Amika and I had both confessed our feelings for each other and even though she wanted more time, I didn't mind as long as  will be here with us

I was so happy I was meeting my family after so long, and that Amika would meet them as well, not forgetting my little princess would meet her other family

Amika was lying her head on the door while she held my free hand...ah to be young and in love
"You know, we should have been here earlier if you weren't so..." Amika complained cutely
"Weren't so what, in need of a little bit of love...." I said innocently

She blushed slightly
"Lucas, you're really lucky I carried smudge proof lipstick, I had to redo the first one I did..." she whined
I couldn't help but chuckle
"Want me to mess it up some more...." I said playfully

She blushed furiously so she turned her head to the window
"Luca-..." she was about to say something when suddenly Myra woke up and started to cry
"Mommy...Daddy..." she said in a sleepy crying voice

Both Amika and I snapped our heads to the back, I had to turn back my head because we were in a highway, and I didn't want to get my two precious lifelines killed

Amika unbuckled her seat belt and climbed into the backseat, luckily she was a little smaller so I wasn't disturbed by her moving

She took Myra into her arms and kissed her cheeks and held her.
"What's wrong baby...hmm" she said ina little voice to a very awake Myra
"I had a bad dweam...." she said groggily
"do you want to tell Mommy and Daddy about it...." Amika asked

She nodded her head signifying no, I had parked the car somewhere so that I could also check on Myra...

When we had made sure she was okay, I made my to the driver's seat. But when Amika tried to go, Myra started to cry..

Oh no, she was grumpy

Whenver Myra and I had a long drive together she would get a little grumpy, and start to crave more attention

One time I had to park the car in the middle of nowhere because she wouldn't let me go, I had to call one of the drivers that day

Now that was fixed on Amika
"Don't worry, she's just a little grumpy because of how long we've been driving..." I assured Amika
"But now she's stolen you away from me..." I pouted
"Aww baby Lucas, you had me long enough...and besides I missed my little marshmallow..." she said while kissing and tickling her

"Kissies mommy..." she said cheering up a bit

She had exactly what I needed at the mention of a word....How unfair

"Aww you want kissies, mommy will give you kisses.." she said while kissing her cheeks, nose and forehead while she giggled

I smiled at them and started back on our way to my parents home

30 minutes later

We were finally at my parents house and I was honestly suprised at why I stopped coming her often

Lucas without 2 years memory loss definitely needs a talking to

"Yayyy were at gwammy's.." Myra said excitedly.

My parents and their partners decided that they wanted to live together as they all grew up together inseparable

So the house was very large. Liam who was turning 31 this year, had 2 kids with his childhood sweetheart Alina lived an hour away from here. He had a high position at dad's company, and also had shares in another company.
