Now he's 25 and a cold business man, doesn't smile as he used to, barely has time for himself and cares about nearly no one...
We were currently at the airport waiting for Lena and her family to arrive. Originally they were supposed to come home with their driver, but he unexpectedly fell ill, so now we had to pick them up....which I didn't mind at all
We'd been on a video call a few hours ago and she was really excited about coming here. Lucas and Bryce,her husband supposed to do some business involving the company
Lena asked a thousand questions about my wellbeing and how I was feeling after the coma but I assured her that I was really fine...
"Mommy, Mommy, look..." Myra said while jumping up and down pointing at what seemed like one of the planes
"What is it Myra..." I asked her She pointed towards a jet that had just landed, and a few people descended before I saw Bryce, the blonde architect-business man, helping Lena descend the stairs...
I didn't want to sound rude, but she did look a little.... bigger, which in my opinion is actually a good thing
Then their twin sons, Julian and Nicholas ran descended even quicker after them like little balls of energy and ran towards Lucas
"Uncle Lucas..." they both ran and hugged him "If it isn't my two favourite boys, you two are definitely growing taller.." "Dad said I'm taller now." one of the twins argued "No, Dad said I'm taller..."the other twin argued
"Julian, Nick, what did I tell you two about arguing about who's taller..."A tired but very sure voice said
"Amika, am I glad to see- wow you are getting bigger..."Lena said while hugging me
"Yep, the baby is definitely making room for him/herself in my stomach..."I said

"I think we should get going...." Lucas said while holding both of the twins hands. Bryce was with Myra, the two seemed to have racked up a conversation about boys and princesses "They're very noisy and messy..."Myra said making Lena and I laugh "What will you do if your little sibling is a boy..." "I will be sad, but I will teach him how to be quiet, and not messy, and maybe when he will get bigger, we will play princesses and princes together.."
... 7:30am
After we got home, we decided to warm up first because of how cold it was. Bryce and Lucas were talking about some business stuff, while despite Myra's dislike for boys, she was playing hide and seek with Michael and Julian
Before, Julian and Michael showed me how to tell the difference between the two of them. They both got their mom's hair colour, but they got their dad's eyes, or so their parents thought so
Julian had a lighter shade of hazel eyes, while Michael had a darker shade. Without this difference, it would be almost impossible to tell the difference between the two of them
We were now having breakfast, the househelps were here today, so the breakfast was already done. Bryce and Lucas decided to have their breakfast in Lucas's study, and the kids were currently watching Peppa Pig and having their breakfast in the upstair lounge. So it was just Lena and I downstairs
I remember Lena telling me that she really loved Coffee, so I offered her some "Would you like any?" "No, no ,no, no thank you.." "I thought you loved coffee.." I said confusedly "Well, it's just that, I don't feel like having coffee today, I'd really love orange juice though, but don't worry I'll get it myself.." "Okay..." I agreed skeptically
Something was definitely weird....
"So,. how does your body feel, you know 5 months along and all"Lena asked me while eating a piece of garlic bread
"Honestly, I feel like there are so many things,I am so glad that the nausea is finally gone, but the cravings are so much worse now, like seriously blue cheese and oreos."
"Tell me about it..." Lena muttered "You said?" "Oh I meant, when I was pregnant with the twins, I felt the exact same way, except 10 times worse, what else do you feel..."
"Well, I feel get really tired easily and the baby has started to kick alot more, I'm sure you can feel it even now.."
Lena put her hand on my belly and tried to feel the baby's kicking "Wow, are you sure those kicks aren't hurtig you, they're pretty hard.." "Nope, but my back has been hurting mildly.." "It's probably going to get worse in the 3rd trimester..."Lena said "So I heard..." "Did you and Lucas find out the gender of the baby?" "We actually want the gender of the baby to be a suprise....." "Have you started picking out names or buying baby clothes..." "Neither, but I actually did want to do some shopping today, maybe I could start today.." "Oooh, and maybe I could help you as well..."Lena. said looking more elated "That's a great idea, since you have more experience with this..." "I wouldn't say I have experience, I felt as though motherhood was just thrown upon me and I had to adjust, with Myra..."I said "Hey, you're one of the best mothers I've ever met, you're so patient and loving with Myra, and even my kids, and nobody is every ready to become a parent, you learn and grow as your child grows" "That's the best advice I've heard, thank you so much Lena" "You don't need to thank me, what are sister's for.." "I'll go and freshen up, then at 12pm, we could go baby shopping..." "Sounds like a great idea, I do feel a little bit tired..." "Okay, you go and rest and we'll meet later...
I think I'd just figured out what's wrong with Lena, what I need is just to confirm it with her
