Amika's Pov

After we had our breakfast today, Lucas's parents called asking about him, Myra and how I and the baby were doing in my comatose state...but little did they know that I was awake now. Lena was supposed to fly in with her kids and her husband tonight as well

When Lucas was nearly done, I told him to hold the call
"What is it?" he asked me
"I want to talk your parents.." I said with a little grin
"You've decided you want to let them know, I'm really happy.." He said while pecking my cheek
"They're going to be really happy to hear you're awake..."
"Really?"
"Yes, really...lemme tell them.."

"Hello, Mom, Dad...are you still there..."
"Yes son, we're still here, why'd you hold the call?"
"I had to do something, before we end the call, there's someone who'd like to talk to you..."
"Oh sure honey, who is it..." I heard Courtney say
"It's a surprise...," Lucas said while grinning at me
He handed the phone to me while I thought of the perfect words to say.....
"Hello Courtney....how are you doing" I said while trying my best not to laugh as I heard Courtney gasp and Louis choke on water
"Am...Amika is that you dear...oh gosh, I don't even know where to begin....how are you dear....how are you feeling? I'm so glad you're finally awake" she rushed out
I chuckled
"I'm doing fine, really fine except for the fact that I'm carrying a small melon in my belly"
"Speaking of the baby, maybe we could change the call into a video call, I want to see how grandchild is doing in my daughters belly, and your face as well...."
I smiled and changed the call to a video call
"Wow dear, you are getting big, my grandchild is really making your womb it's home.., I need to tell everyone that you're awake.....here talk to Louis"
"Dear how are you feeling...?"He asked me
"I'm alright Mr Neviera..."I said
"I'm happy that you are alright....is my son treating you well, because if he isn't, I might resort to drastic measures"
I laughed and said
"Oh you don't have to worry about that Mr Neviera, Lucas is taking great care of Myra, the baby and I"
"That is very great to hear.."
Courtney came back with a very elated Everly, suprised looking Mason and Levi who all seemed really happy

After I spoke to each of the people on the video call, and hung up, I immediately received a call from Tara

Oh Boy....

I laughed to myself at the drama that was about to come on that very phone call
"Tara listen I can-
"Don't you dare use that on me...." she said in a very detectable fake angry tone but I played along
"Tara...I was going to..."
"Babe, do you know how hard it was to not hear your voice, to not see you...You have no idea how much I missed you...." she immediately broke down
"I even wish I was with you right now to hug you and your now big little bump, how are you feeling boo, I missed you so much..."

It's like immediately she started to cry, my hormones started to act up

I started to cry as well
"I missed you in my 3 month long sleep as well, and I also wish that you could hug my bump..."I said while crying
"Stop crying, you're making me miss you so much more..." I said
"Okay, I'll stop crying only because it's probably not good for the baby...."
"How did you even know that I was awake..?"
"Well, that's actually bringing me to what I had to talk to you about...."
"What is it?"
"Welll my mom actually called me telling me that you'd woken up, then she said that she wants me to tell you that she can no longer be your gynaecologist..."
"What...why?" I felt myself tearing up even more
"She told me that she'd hurt her back really badly and she'd have to be on bed rest for the next few weeks, so you can count on seeing me soon"

"I hope she gets better soon, I'll text her, but if she doesn't see it please tell her that I hope she gets better soon"
"Okay, as much as I'd like to continue our conversation after months and months, I've got a car to deliver really high up a hilly road...so catch you later.."
"Bye Boo..."
