Amika's Pov

After I got a little bit of rest, and checked up on the restaurant with the manager I hired, Graciela, I decided to get ready...

Amika's Outfit

I went to Lucas's study to inform him and Bryce that Lena and I were going out. When I got to Lucas's study, I found him and Bryce watching football. They were so engrossed in the match that they didn't even hear the door opened

And that door is really loud....

In Luca's study, there was a side of the room with a couch that was directly in front of the TV, which was where they were sitting

I went behind Lucas and played with his hair a little...before he bent his head backwards and noticed me
"Hey...I was starting to miss you..." He said
I laughed
"I highly doubt that... listen Lena and I are going out for a bit..."
"With the driver.?"Bryce suddenly said worriedly
"Nope...just us two...don't worry, if we run into any trouble we'll call first thing..."
Bryce looked skeptical but just said
"Okay...I just want to talk to Lena for a few moments, I'll be back..."
With that he quickly left Lucas's study leaving just Lucas and I

Seeming to be tired of the position he was in... Lucas made me sit on the couch next to him by pulling my hands gently
"Are you sure you'll be fine...?"Lucas asked me
"Yes Lucas, I'm very sure I'll be fine and I'll have Lena with me..if anything we can't control happens I'll let you know..."
"Okay bu-..." Before he could get any words out, I quickly pecked his lips leaving him suprised
"Byebye now..." I said while leaving Lucas's study

When I got back, I found Bryce and Lena arguing in hushed tones... I tried not to listen but I couldn't help but hear

"I'm just worried about you Le....I don't want a repeat of last time..." Bryce said
"I know it's just..." Lena said

I didn't want to unintentionally eavesdrop anymore so I left, but when I was about to leave, Lena spotted me

"Oh Amika...I've been looking all over for you....we can leave now..."
"But..."Bryce said
Lena grabbed me gently and pulled me with her before Bryce could say anything and closed the door

I didn't want to make anything worse, so I just stayed quiet. We made our way to Lena's car and got in

Lena was driving while I was scrolling through some photos of ideas for nurseries..Lena must've seen one because she said
"I really like that one..it's cute and classy , the colours compliment each other...I think you should save that one..."
"Great idea...."I said while saving the photo

After a few minutes of driving we finally got to the baby store...
"Wow..this store is really huge...and it's got everything from strollers to the teeny tiny clothes...." Lena said happily
"I know....I'm so excited to do baby shopping here.."
"By the way..I don't mean to be rude but I thought Lucas would want to come seeing how excited he's been about this baby..."
"We already did a little baby shopping and besides he says he wanted me to have as much time to browse through what I like since whenever we go shopping together, his schedule makes it unable to shop for more than 45 minutes. Besides, I told him I'd send pictures of what I'd get..."I said
"And since you already have 2 kids of your own...I figured you'd be able to help me with this whole thing..."
"I'd love to..just tell me what you're looking for, your interests and everything...Lena said
"Well...I did want to start with the essentials..and a couple non-essentials..."I said while grabbing a little cart
