It was like the whole came together for a split second, Daemerys could hear herself breathing. It was like all the pieces of the puzzle came together. And when they did, she look up at him. Before Daemerys knew it he had walked up to her, kissing her passionately. It was like the whole world stopped. It was intense, steamy. She had wrapped her arms around him while he held her before both heard someone say... "BASTARD!"Once the two heard that they stopped looking at each-other before backing away.
"Oh my god." Daemerys said realizing the situation. "Oh my god." She said running towards the noise. "What the hell are you doing?!" She yelled at Anthony pulling him off Simon. "he compromised her!" Anthony yelled pointing a Daphne as Daemon came around the corner. "What the hell are you two doing out here?" He asked angry. "Um-" Daemerys said. "Arguing." Daemon said crossing his arms. "Yes. Arguing." Daemerys said looking down at Simon. "You must marry her." Anthony demanded. "I cannot marry her." Simon said getting up from the ground. "Then you leave me no choice." Anthony said. "I must demand satisfaction." He said as Daemerys looked at him. "A duel? Anthony, you cannot-" Daphne started to say. "He dishonors you, sister." Anthony said looking at her. "He dishonors you, me, Daemerys and the very Bridgerton name." He stated. "I have misjudged you, indeed. You have duped us three." Anthony said walking towards Simon. "But I shall not see my sister pay for my own misdeeds." Anthony stated. "We will settle this as gentleman." He expressed. "I understand." Simon said. "I shall see you at dawn." Simon said. "I do not understand." Daphne said. "You would rather die than marry me?" She asked. "I am truly sorry, to you and Daemerys." He said looking at them both. "We need to go Daph, Danny." Anthony said. "Before anyone should see us." He stated dragging them away.
Anthony walked the two girls into the ball room again. Daphne looked sick to her stomach as Daemerys looked paler than usually. Daemerys could hear herself breathing harder than usually. She stood by Daphne as Anthony walked up to Colin. "Our sisters has a headache. I am taking her home." Anthony said to his younger brother. "See you mother, will you?" He asked as Cressida walked behind Daphne and Daemerys. "Daphne, Daemerys, you look unwell." Cressida said. "Did you two catch a chill in the garden?" She asked smugly. "Come on now." Anthony said leading his two sister away.
Once the trio arrived home Daemerys looked anywhere else than at Daphne or Anthony. "I want you to know I am not angry with you." Anthony said guiding Daphne in. "I do not blame you for what transpired." He said coming into an arch by his office. "Do not treat me like a child." Daphne said with his coat draped over her. "I did this." She stated. "He took advantage of you." Anthony stated. "No less than I took liberties with him." Daphne said as Anthony shook his head. "You do not understand. I should have protected you better. Me and Daemerys should've, we knew his true nature from the start." Anthony expressed. "Do not drag me into this Anthony, I did not thing wrong." Daemerys said upset. "You knew him, for his true self you should've known-" he started to say. "I should've known what? That he is a rake? That he's been to brothels? Guess who's the one who encourage him to be what he wanted? Me. I will not be held accountable for his actions or yours." She stated. "You think just because I am a woman, I am incapable of making my own choices?" Daphne asked her other brother. "Is that It brother." She asked. "Do you even care that Simon has dishonored me, as you say, or is it your own male pride that you seek to satisfy?" Daphne asked pulling his jacket off of her. "You are to go on up to bed." Anthony said storming into his office. "You cannot duel him." Daphne said raising her voice.
"It is illegal, to name but one reason. You could both be arrested, let alone killed." Daphne said worriedly. "There must be another way." She added. "What would you have me do?" Anthony asked. "I do not take this decision lightly, but this is the way things are handled amongst gentlemen." He stated looking at Daemerys. "If this We're ti become known-" he started to say. "I could live with that." Daphne stated. "And be ruined? Ruin the Bridgerton name? Daphne, I do not agree with Anthony actions but there's something to be done." Daemerys stated. "What I could it live with is the dukes death on my hands." Daphne said looking at her. "Like you do with your brothers." She stated. "That is different, and you know it." Daemerys stated. "Nor Anthony's, however tempting that may be at this very moment." Daphne stated. "It is more than just your honor at stake. It is your sisters', too, like Daemerys said the entire family name. It had been decided." Anthony stated. "Oh, this is madness!" Daphne yelled as Benedict walked into the room. "Have a good time?" Daemerys asked looking at his distressed clothing. "What is it?" Benedict asked confused as anthony walked towards him. "You and I need to talk." He said grabbing him. "Daphne bed." Anthony said walking towards the study before closing the door in her face.
Daemerys sighed rubbing her temples as Daphne groaned stomping away. "Well this was fun for a minute." Daemerys told herself before walking up the stairs behind her. "How can you say that?" Daphne asked angry. "Daphne of you love him, you will do something about it. Sitting here and feeling bad for him and yourself isn't going to do anything. So what are you going to do about it?" Daemerys asked crossing her arms. "I-I don't know." Daphne said stuttering.
