"ENOUGH!" Pt.2
(Age 22)
Daemerys just tried to stay quiet, she really had no idea why she was even invited. She thought the whole Bridgerton clan would be there, not just Anthony and Violet. To say she was a little out of place was the truest thing someone could say to her tonight.
"So Daemerys, and I saying it right?" Mrs. Sheffield asked. "Yes." Daemerys said. "I must ask, how are you related to the Bridgertons?" Mrs. Sheffield asked as everyone looked towards her. "I'm not, but Violet took me in and cared for me as if I were her own." Daemerys said as Mrs. Sheffield looked at her skeptical. "Her mother, Queen Rhaeline was my closet friend. When she died me and my Kate husband Edmund took her in for a few months every year till she was 19 and came to live with us." Violet explained. "Isn't that right dearest?" Violet asked. "Quite right." Daemerys saying giving them a smile. "And are you married?" Mr. Sheffield asked.
"Look at that big rock she has on her hand darling." Mrs. Sheffield said as he looked toward her hand. "Daemon does have great taste I'll say." Anthony said taking a sip of his wine. "Daemon?" Mrs. Sheffield questioned. "How is Daemon? Daemerys?" Lady Danbury asked raising her eyebrows. "Very good, I think being king suits him." Daemerys answered. "Are you his consort? I'm sorry I forgot to ask?" Edwina asked. "No, he is technically. But I bestowed him the right to work besides me in running the kingdoms." Daemerys said nodding her head. "We're very proud of our girl." Violet said holding her hand. "I heard you're close to George Washington." Mr. Sheffield stated. "A good man he is." He added she stayed silent.
As soon as he had mentioned his name Daemerys could feel her scar ache, just a little bit.
"Are you ok?" Violet asked concerned. "He still lucky to be alive, I would had him killed." She whispered as violet nodded. Lady Danbury looked in between the two girl as they spoke to each other. "How is it? The scar?" Violet asked as Daemerys shrugged. "I had something impaled me mama, it hurts." She said cutting the meat in front of her. "I do not wish to speak of it anymore." She said shoving the food into her mouth before chewing hard. "I would like to thank you for the letter Daemerys." Kate said as Daemerys smiled at the girl. "Daemerys offered Kate a spot on her council." Edwina explained. "It's my pleasure, you deserve it Kate." She said as Kate gave her a weak smile.
Daemerys started to tone out of the conversation just thinking. Thinking about her brothers, her husband, and her baby. She hadn't even noticed when Mrs. Sheffield began talking.
