"The King Is Dead"

(Age 20)

6 months later...

Death is enviable, it surrounds each and everyone of us. Death can be good or bad. You either celebrate or mourn. Sometimes it's a blessing, or a curse. The king is dying. And he's slipping away quick.

"Your highnesses?" A miad asked coming into their room. "Yes?" Daemerys asked in a whisper not waking her husband. "The king is dying." The maid said as the blood drained from Daemerys. "He was fine yesterday." Daemerys said panicked. "He needs you too." The maid said. "Send word I'll be right there." Daemerys said getting out of the bed. "Wake up, wake up." She said trying to get herself together. "What is going on?" He mumbled. "The king is dying, we need to leave." She stated as he shot up. "We need to go." She said getting dressed quickly. "Slow down, you're making me dizzy." He stated getting out of bed as she turned around and sighed. "He's dying." She stated upset.

You haven't seen them in 6 months but a lot has changed. After that "conversation" with her father they weren't talking to each other for a month. But Daemerys apologized despite not meaning any of it and they became closer. He started treating her like one of his own. Starting off by hugging and kissing her, telling her how much he loves and how proud of her she is. Her Inter child was being healed, while her outer child was screaming at her.

"The kids they can't know." She said in a worry. "They're not kids. They're young adults." Daemon stated getting dressed. "We have to go." She said tearing up. "Everything's alright, everything's alright." She said leaving the bedroom.

Daemerys walked, well ran to the other side of the castle hustings through the doors of her fathers room. And there he was. Looking deathly pale and sick. Daemerys knew something was wrong with him yesterday but she didn't say anything. She was too busy caring for her siblings. And there they were standing next to him as she walked over.

"You came." He said grabbing her hand. "Of course I did." She said kissing his hand. "How are you going to save him?" She asked the doctor. "He's to far long princess. Theirs no chance in saving him when he's this far long." The doctor stated. "The cancer is killing me slowly." Her father said looking over to Alicent. "My two favorite girls all were now. Plus my boys." He said looking at them all. "Where's Daemon?" He asked her. "He's coming he's just-" Daemerys started to say as he appears in the door way. "Give us all a minute." He told them. "You to can stay." He said to her and him. "The war is just starting Daemerys." He said trying to pick up his tea. "This one?" Daemon asked as the king nodded. "Thank you." The king said taking the cup handed to him. "I don't want you to stop the war Daemerys." He stated turning to his daughter. "I want you to finish them." He stated. "That's the medicine talking." The doctor said.

"Ok." Daemerys said uneasy. "They're going to attack us the day I die." He stated. "You need to be prepared." He said drinking his tea before looking at her. "Could you give us a minute?" Daemerys asked her husband. "Go check on them." She stated as he nodded walking away. "You need to be strong Daemerys." He said as she said down on the bed. "You need to be strong. They will try and get you any chance you'll get." He stated. "I'm sorry for everything I put you through." He stated hugging her. "It's ok, dad." She stated. "You mother said the same thing." He stated as she chuckled. "She would be so proud of you." He stated. "And I am. I'm proud of you." He said kissing her cheek. "And I love you." He said before going quiet. "Dad?" Daemerys asked watching him close his eyes. "Dad?" She asked feeling his hand slip away from her. "HELP!" She screamed. "HELP!" She yelled as doctors came rushing in. "Get her out of here!" one of them yelled as Daemon came in to try and get her away.

The Bridgertons were in the drawer room when Anthony turned his page off the newspaper. "Anthony?" Violet asked concerned. "Anthony?" Violet asked again. "What has happened?" She asked looking at his concerned face. "King Aerys II Targaryen is dead." He said folding your his paper. "Oh my god." Violet said holding her heart. "The kings is dead." He stated closing his eyes. "Have anyone gotten a letter from Daemerys?" Eloise asked coming into the room. "No, I imagine she's taking care of things right now." Benedict stated.

Her screaming echoed the castle as she was being pulled away from him. She was yelling, while crying. Everything and everyone had died on her. Her first thought was that when the doctor came out with blood on him. "I'm-" the doctor started to say as Alicent bursted into tears.

Daemerys couldn't even cry anymore, she was too numb. She could barely even think straight. Now she knew what the god said it would be a "hard path". Her father was dead, the king was dead. He was gone. Everyone was gone. Everybody had either died or abandoned her. Now more then ever she wished she had came back sooner rather then later. But that wasn't her first priority. It was making sure her nation was ok.

The funeral was a quick service. It was graceful. Daemerys stood there in all black looking down. Daemon was "heartbroken" and through himself into his work while Daemerys did the same. They hadn't talk to each-other since. There was nothing to say.

"The war has escalated Queen." A council men said. "They've burned down a small city of ours." He said. "I know you're hurting, but we need to fight back." He said. "Call for a ceasefire, I want to talk to them." She stated. "And if they refuse?" He asked. "Then we burn them down to the fucking ground." She stated emotionlessly. "Burn them down to the ground?" He asked. "Your majesty-" he started to say. "I said." She stated sternly.

"Burn to the fucking ground."
