>Louis' POV<
"Him or her?" I asked Liam and Simon. We had been here for three hours deciding who gets to make it to the next round and we were so close to done. My stomach rumbled loudly, causing Liam to chuckle.
"We'll grab some food after this, mate." Liam promised me. I heard the door at the back of the silent auditorium open and close.
"Almost done, Lou?" I heard Eleanor's sweet voice behind me.
"Almos,t love." I said as I stared at the pictures of the two contestants on the table. I whiped my hands on my dark gery trousers and set my jaw, trying to choose between the two amazing talents.
"I say the guy. He did really well." Liam stated. I nodded my head slightly. John had done really well but Cassie did too.
"John will sell better." Simon spoke. He was probably right.
"Alright, then I guess it's John." I ended the debate in my head right there.
"BOO!" A male voice shouted in my ear, unsuccessfully trying to scare me.
"Hey, buddy. What's up?" Liam asked the 14 year old.
"Eh, you know. Wanted a break from my mum." He spoke in his cool mix of Kiani and Zayn's accents. The boy leaned against a chair behind us like he owned the place in his leather jacket, quiffed hair, and fancy shoes. This boy was Zayn's son. Without a doubt.
"I told Kiani to go have a girls night with Noelle." Eleanor said, mentioning Roman's twin sister.
"Ahh, well we're almost done." Simon told her, "Just one more pair."
Simon set the two pictures on the table, the last two where we would have to pick one to stay and one to go. It was Megan and Delilah.
"Delilah, hands down." I said, my hands starting to sweat a bit.
"You rememeber her name?" Simon asked.
"It's hard to forget." Liam said. It got quiet. One of those random moments where we all thought of one person, but no one had the guts to say her name. Even Roman, who had never met her, knew who Audrey had been. "But Lou, Megan has an amazing voice."
"Yeah, she's so 'hipster' too, the kids will love her." Behind me, I heard Roman laugh at Simon's hand quotations around the word 'hipster'. He looks like Zayn, but has Kiani's immaturity.Simon gave him a questioning look. When I looked over at him, he was posing in front of a camera. What is wrong with the kids of One Direction? Oh right, we raised them. I looked back down at the two pictures. Simon and Liam were both about to send Delilah home. That wasn't going to happen. I slammed my hand down on the picture.
"Get rid of anyone that we've selected to move on, but Delilah's not leaving. Not yet. She's the one person that I'm going to fight for and I won't let you send her home." I said. Everyone stared at me wide-eyed. I may have been a bit intense, but I would not let her leave before finding out the truth.
"I don't want to get rid of Megan. But I can't get rid of Delilah." Liam stated, looking intensely at the pictures.
"What do you mean? Why? Just because Louis doens't want her to go?" Simon, who was clearly in favor of Megan, asked.
"Megan is so talented, you can't just let that kind of talent slip through your fingers. But Delilah.." Liam stopped speaking and we all stared. He sniffled a little and Roman came up behind him and put his hands on Liam's shoulders. I waited impatiently for Liam to continue. Finally, he looked up at the X Factor stage. He stared, as if he was in a trance. Maybe reliving the old days through his memories.
"Delilah is Audrey. In absolutely everything she does." My mouth dropped. Roman took his hands off Liam's shoulders and stared at me, almost scared. Eleanor gasped.
"What did you just say?" Simon asked him.
Liam finally came out of his little trance, "I'm not saying it again." And then, we decided.

>Delilah's POV<
As they began calling out names and putting every single contestant in groups, I stood by my friends. My entire body shook in my blazer and simple pencil skirt. Grace and Olivia's names were called in the same group, leaving me and Megan to wait, side by side.
They started calling names for the last group. I breathed a sigh of relief. Megan was amazing, there was no way they'd send her home. Since we're in the same group, that means I would be staying too, right? I recognized some of the names they called, others I had never heard before. Finally they were done calling names. But there was one problem, mine and Megan's weren't called.
Giving each other a confused look, we ran up to the women with the megaphone before she left the room that was almost empty.
"Excuse me," I said, "but you didn't call our names."
"Are you girls Megan and Delilah?"
"Yes?" Megan asked, sounding as confused as I felt.
"The judges want to speak with you alone after they talk to all the other groups." She stated, walking off, leaving Megan and I to stare at each other, scared out of our minds.
-------------------------2 hours later---------------------------
"Delilah? Megan?" None other than the gorgeous Eleanor Calder called for us, entering the room that we had seen many people walk through crying in defeat today. "They're ready for you."
Standing up, I felt the butterflies swarm in my stomach as Eleanor lead us to the side of the stage. I took deep breaths and heard Megan beside me doing the same. We stopped once we hit the edge of the stage. I looked down at Megan's hand and grabbed it. When I looked back up, her face had fear written all over it. I felt Eleanor give us a nudge and my feet started moving mechanically.
When the bright lights hit my face, and the contestants who made it watched up at us, I thought for sure my dream was over.
"Well know, this doesn't usually happen, does it girls?" Louis Tomlinson asked us. We both nodded our heads, neither of us having it in us to answer out loud.
"You two are a special case." Simon told us, "We couldn't choose between you two for a number of reasons."
"Which is why.." Liam said, then stalled. He opened his mouth, about to tell us our fate. My heart beat wildly in my chest. "We've decided that..."
