They Know

I don't know what I was expecting. I guess I wasn't really expecting anything, I mean I hadn't really been thinking about anything except for twitter and Megan since I woke up. When the van pulled into the back of the X Factor arena, my stomach contorted into knots. The building was HUGE! From the outside it was very plain, just white with the big X Factor logo above the set of 8 front doors. 8 BIG GLASS FRONT DOORS.

"Whoa.." Was all anyone could get out. This came from Molly, a teeny little blonde who was in the girl band For Love. Unlike 'Your Prince' I actually really liked their name, it's adorable. The van pulled up behind the two other vans and we hopped out and headed for the back doors that clearly stated 'V.I.P.'

"We're cool." I said, nodding my head in approval as we walked in. Megan, right behind me, laughed at my comment and despite being mad at her, I couldn't help but smile.

We're in a small hallway, when you look to your left, there's another hallway that looks like it goes on for miles and straight ahead were two black doors labeled 'Stage'.

"Is this actually happening?" Caitlin, who's usually really quite, said.

"Follow me." A girl appeared out of no where, wearing all balck with her brown hair tied up in a bun and a headset on. We all obeyed without uddering another word. None of us could really believe that this was actually happening, that this was our new reality. The girl lead us down the super long hallway about two-thirds of the way down. The actual hallway was very boring just white with scratchy navy blue carpeting. She knocked on a door and put her head against it, listening for some sort of commotion. Whatever she was listening for, apparently came because she opened the door and gestured for us to enter. We walked into a lounge room that was gorgeous! It had leather couches, a piano, and coffee table. It almost looked like a mixture of a dressing room and meeting room. The whole thing was full of metallics. Metallic purples, and blues, and greys. Unlike the plain hallway, this room looked like it was intended for a star. On one of the couches sat none other than Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

"Hey, girls!" Liam stood and told us to take a seat wherever. I ended up on the couch to the right of him, inbetween Megan and Caitlin. Liam and Niall started telling us about what would happen today once all the other contestants got situated and once Louis sorted out some things for all of us.

Being this close to my father, made my heart skip every other beat. Every time he moved, I flinched and everytime he looked at me, my heart sank, because he had no idea .

>Louis' POV<

"Charlotte?" I called to my assistant for the moment without looking up from the huge computer screen that looked more like a flat screen. "Could you get Eleanor for me?"

"What'd you find?" She sensed my tense state, saw my focused stare.

"Absolutely nothing. That's why I'm worried." I looked back at the screen trying not to assume anything.

>Eleanor's POV<

"Lou?" I knocked on the door. Charolette walked in ahead of me. I hated this room so much, it terrified me. The room was pitch black except for the computer screens and t.v. screens and all the flahsing buttons. This room is basically the most important and busy room during a live show, it's the control panel. The sounds, lights, and cameras are all controlled here. I tried to spend as little time as possible in this room since apparently there isn't even a damn light switch.

Louis was at the desk in the middle of the room, standing and staring a at a computer screen that made his face look blue.

"Charlotte? Could you give us a minute. I'm sure Simon or someone could use your help for the time being." She nodded her head and strutted out of the room. "Eleanor.. You really need to see this."
