This chapter is dedicated to NiallYouDirtyBoy because I just finished her Lou & Liv trilogy and it might be one of my favorite Wattpad stories ever! I highly recommend it, you guys HAVE to read it.

>Louis' POV<

"God, I am such an idiot." I mentally facepalmed myself for like the millionth time since Delilah's performance last night.

"It's too early for this, stop." Eleanor handed me my Starbucks cup. Harry yawned loudly from beside me.

"Tell me again why Simon said we all had to be here by 6 am?" Kiani complained. Just then, Simon entered the auditorium.

"Get the kids out of here. I need to speak with my band." Simon's body was tense, his voice commanding. I felt myself all of a sudden become very alert and I'm sure it had little to do with the coffee. Erika, Kiani, Eleanor, and Danielle all became very confused as they got the kids out of there. The older kids were already off doing who-knows-what, who-knows-where.

"What's going on?" I asked. He walked right up to Liam and instantely I thought oh shit.

"Do you remmeber when I told you not to date Audrey? Yeah, then she caused so much media trouble for you guys and then she left and you were heartbroken and this band was almost ripped to shreds." Liam's face remained passive but his brown eyes were hard and cold. "Then you got over it and for the past 15 years it's been pretty smooth sailing."

"Simon, please calm down. This isn't easy for him." Niall tried, but failed, to make Simon stop.

"I will not. WILL NOT! Let her or her daughter ruin this show or this family or this band." He was pissed beyond belief. Maybe we should have told him, but it isn't really about him, this is about Liam. "That's why you," He pointed to Liam, "Will schedule both of their plane tickets and both of you," He pointed at me as well this time, " will send her home tonight. End of discussion." It was really quiet. Simon wanted us to pick his band over Delilah tonight after they give their final performance.

"No." Liam shook his head, "I'm not doing that to her-" Simon tried to cut Liam off but Liam just spoke louder and with more force in his voice, "I AM NOT DOING THAT TO HER WHETHER SHE'S MY DAUGHTER OR ANY OTHER CONTESTANT."

"Yes, you will. Because I write your checks and your family's fates are in my hands! YOU GOT THAT?" Simon gave it a second to sink in and then turned and walked away. I made eye contact with Liam. I knew what I'd be doing tonight. I don't care if Delilah fails again, I'm choosing her over Your Prince. Simon is clearly going to pick Your Prince, so whoever goes home rests in Liam's hands. Shit.

-----------2 Hours Later-------

Result show days were usually pretty chill. The contestants just got ready and maybe practiced their final 2 songs if they felt like it. I had asked an assistant to get me Delilah. The previous night, I had made sure she could practice on the stage today as much as she needed. If Simon wanted to get rid of her, we were going to have to give him every reason to not throw her aside.

"You wanted to see me." She asked. She had on black and white shorts with a pink top that had a bow on it and a black leather jacket. Her hair was curled and even though she looked perfect and if I was a few years younger, I'd probably hit on her, she wasn't Delilah. Delilah has this smile that brightens up the room even when you know she's angry or stressed. Today she wasn't even trying to fake happiness. The usual spark in her eyes was faded. Her broken heart basically shown through her. I remember thinking the exact same thing about her dad the morning after Audrey left.
