Aurora Blackwood
I had chosen a soft flowing knee length dress, off the shoulders lace arms in a warm champagne colour. My hair was braided with matching gold flowers winded into my soft plat falling down my back as I finish up the final touches to my makeup, Adrian places his hands onto my shoulders and looks into the mirror with a grin.
"You look incredible. He wont know what hit him."
A devilish smile grew on my face as I stand and spin looking at myself in accomplishment. I hear my mothers deafening voice from the bottom of the stair way in the main entrance.
"I'm guessing that cat singing was your que to leave?"
"Well it definitely wasn't a warm reminder"
I laugh replying to Adrian's comment about my mothers voice. We head down the stairs to the front of the manor as my mother turns to me and grabs me by the shoulders, she is more nervous about this meeting than i was. She has good reason to be, i could annihilate this family in five minutes if i were to speak openly about us to Sohan's grandfather but i wouldn't. Apart from an unhealthy mental state, this place has its perks.
"Right, remember. Elegant, polite, you are to become the dream woman for Sohan tonight. Just don't be..."
"Me?"
I finish off her lecture as she clenches her jaw. Adrian sneaks out mouthing the words 'good luck' to me before leaving the estate. I turn my gaze back to my mother who was quickly ushering me out of the front door before i get a glimpse of my father stood, coldly staring at me. As if to be a warning of not ruining his reputation. I lower my head before i leave his sight and the doors close behind me.
I sigh looking down the drive to Sohan stood outside of his chauffer's vehicle, he wore a dark grey suit with a gold chain wrapped into his chest pocket. His hair as dark as the night sky, slick. His tattoos peering out of his sleeves with an obscenely expensive watch on show.
He looked brilliant...for a mistake.
I scoffed at him looking down at his phone as he completely ignores my presence.
"Lets get this over and done with."
Sohan Azure
Aurora's words snap me out of concentration when i realise that she was finally done making me wait impatiently. Whether it be on purpose or she had no intention of doing so, i didn't care. She took to long.
"Took your ti-"
I lifted my head to be met with a view that caught me off guard. She looked delicious to say the least. Pure but hypnotic. I was taken aback for longer than i had expected as she finally stops in front of me. Her sweet scent, her piercing blue eyes, those lips...
I snap out of it and plaster a dark smile on my face.
"You decided not to wear the cream blouse. I'm impressed."
"Don't be, I wore this for your brother."
A smile rose on her soft pink lips as she glared back at me. A small hint of annoyance grew inside of me, I ignored it. I opened a door for her as she slipped into her seat elegantly. Rolling my eyes i seat myself next to her before the chauffer takes off.
I instinctively turn my head toward my window and ignore her existence to the best of my abilities but unfortunately all i could concentrate on was her reflection in the glass i was looking so arrogantly out of.
