I couldn't wrap my head around what had just happened. I finally snapped. My hand had left a hefty print against his cheek with a small slit from my ring to only worsen the sting.

He deserves it! Why should I have to deal with such immature games from a man almost a decade older than me? . It has to be the most insane thing I've ever done in my life. Resorting to violence? That is completely against my morals. Not to mention who I had just laid my hands on.

The deafening silence around us had been enough to realise the weight of my actions. I follow his hand with my eyes, watching him brush the blood from the slit across his fingertips before he shifts his eyes down to realise what had just occurred between us before sharing a glare back at me.

A shiver crawled up my spine pointing toward my apparent demise. His eyes locked onto mine, I felt terror turn my stomach into a playground. I'd understand if he got violent with me in return, I would expect no less. If my so called parents were here it wouldn't take long until they returned the favour.

His hand with a blood stained finger tip grew close to my mouth before my body flinches at the soft brush across lips. My eyes met his once more in confusion, before he brought his own finger tip upto his tongue to grab a taste, the mixture of his blood and my lipstick.

That devouring smirk appeared across his face.

"The colour of your lips matches my blood."

My face only retorted into more confusion as I try to come to my senses.

"what?"

I managed to murmer out.

"You're so considerate to make us match colours before entering."

My eyes widen in shock horror. He's absolutely crazy. Does this man act like this with every woman?

"You're completely insane. I just hurt you!"

"Are you worried about me Aura?"

His smile widens while observing my obvious distaste from the question. I wasn't worried about him. I was worried about me, or maybe the fact he wasn't reacting like an ordinary human would. Who the hell makes violence sexual? He most definetely has a few screws loose.

Before I could think of a cruel reply we were interrupted by Stephen.

"I apologise for interrupting miss but they're growing impatient sir."

Why is he apologising to me? He works for Sohan not myself? I turn back to Sohan who nods before sliding his hand into mine without hesitation.

"Let's go my love"

We can't go into that room with his face marked! I'm going to get reprimanded by not only his family but mine too! Without a second thought he swung open the doors with a devious grin and walked hand in hand with me to the head of the table.

Everyones head turned and I was being eaten alive by fear. It was the first time I had been face to face with my own family since moving into Sohan's place and the first thing they bare witness too is my hand print against his cheek. I might as well offer myself up for a sacrifice. I'd have a better chance at surviving that.

We reach the head of the table, I prepare to be seated beside him in his right but to my surprise. I was evidently wrong, again. Sohan pulled the head seat out smiling toward me, gesturing me to get comfortable.

He cannot be serious. I inhale deeply before seating myself in front of both family's either side of this table. To my left, the Blackwoods. To my right? The Azures.
