I had arranged a meeting with Aurora's father at the end of the week to speak on boundaries and to my surprise he agreed. I haven't had much time to wrap my head around the ordeals thrown at me but I'll find a way to cope, especially with this nuisance moving herself into my place.
I undo my tie slightly sat uncomfortably in my chauffeurs jaguar. Scrolling through my contacts to find my imbecile of a brother's contact number.
I really do wish he was adopted, atleast then I could've spoken to my old man, stating how much they fucked up choosing this one. As much as I despise this cretin he is useful at times, I dail his number reluctantly.
C~ "You calling me? I must be daydreaming."
S~ "As am I. Look I need a hand."
C~ "What with? You've got plenty of people at your disposal, why waste my precious time?"
S~ "I am going to pretend like you have better things to do for once. Aurora's moving in."
C~ "Yes? That's what normally happens with married couples in this century why does that have anything to do with me?"
S~ "Let's make this clear right now. We are not married as of yet and when she moves in, I need help choosing what interior design will work well for a woman's... Suite."
C~ "Oh ho ho! So you've come to the womaniser for advice. You know I'm no interior designer ? Why don't you just hire one?"
An aggravating sigh left my mouth followed by Christians laugh. He has to make everything so unbearably awkward with each interaction I have with him.
C~" Okay, I'll head over this afternoon and bring some catalogues that'll be of help to your situation. Now don't call me again."
S~ "Didn't plan on it"
I buttoned him before laying my head back onto the leather headrest behind me, my eyes slyly side eye the rear view mirror where my driver was smirking at my obvious disgust in the matter.
I curl my nose up in repulse before turning back toward the window.
What on earth am I doing for this damn imbecile.

"Has there been any more delays with the development of mall replacements across the docking bays?"
I pace my eyes through the files of work before me laid across my desk as my employees stand, giving me a firm run down on the profits we have earned since relocating half of our stores.
Taking a sip of my espresso I turn to Adrian and point out on the information that needs to be reworked all whilst I continue to listen on the new profitability we could be gathering.
"... so between these three locations we have gained upto nearly 16% more popularity amongst the younger audiences. The ages now range from 16-50. That's without the-"
I cut off one of my colleagues almost immediately.
"-ah. 16? Our prioritised audience is 20 and above. Why do we have young teens wandering our stores?"
"Well..."
She looked at her coworkers hesitantly, I squint my eyes and turn to Adrian who is redirecting his line of sight anywhere but toward me.
Leaning back in my chair and folding my arms I sigh re-establishing my authority.
"is someone going to answer me or am I paying you to stand around withholding information?"
