I sat up in my bed after reading all the texts I received this morning. Out of all of them I replied to Lani's and liked Kendra's. Kendra's suspension was up and I'm sure Coach Latrice wanted to talk to the two of us regarding being a team and moving forward.
I slept through my 7am alarm. There was no practice today but I wanted to get up and jog through campus while it was still empty. It was now 10:30 so I needed to get ready to go to Coach's office.
After showering I through on my cropped red Ed Hardy jacket with some Jean shorts. Leaving out my room I see Bre in the kitchen making herself something to eat.
"You want a sandwich?" She asked greeting me
"Yes please, but can you wrap it for me I'll eat it when I get back."
"Where you going?" She asked
"Coach wants to have a meeting with Kendra and I."
"Oh shit, her suspension is up."Bre sighed "I was enjoying these peaceful practices without her."
"Same but maybe it'll get better after this meeting."
She nodded and began to speak but then stopped herself.
"What is it?" I questioned
"That guy who came by yesterday, was that your...?"
"Ex." I finished her sentence "Yes."
"Well I'm sorry I let him in." She apologized
"It's okay, you didn't know." I shrugged
"You don't really talk about him or your past much." She mentioned "I hope you know I'm here for you if you need anything."
"Thanks Bre Bre." I said hugging her
I scrolled through the other text messages from Sebastian and Chris and tried to decide who I wanted to reply to or if I wanted to reply to either of them at all. Sebastian's didn't require much of a response, whereas Chris was actually asking to see me which I was back and forth about. I hearted Sebastian's message and locked my phone as I walked into Coach's office.
