Paul scrunched his nose in his sleep, but couldn't relieve the itchy feeling. That feeling crept through his dreams and coaxed him awake. He brought his hand up to scratch his nose, but was met by a head of hair. Shifting his head back on the pillow slightly, he smiled when he registered Hannah was still there with him. Content to snooze, Paul cuddled closer to the blonde and closed his eyes.
Some time later, he was woken from his snooze by an arm being thrown across his chest and a contented sigh warm against his neck.
"Morning, sleepy head." Paul whispered, pressing a kiss into the tousled blonde hair. The only response he received was some unintelligible murmuring and Hannah cuddling closer to him, tangling their feet together under the covers. "Warm enough?"
"Mmhm, you're like my jumbo hot water bottle."
"Ready for that awkward conversation you were trying to avoid, then?" Paul asked, chuckling. Hannah started to make an attempt to squirm away, but Paul held her against his chest until she stopped squirming and just buried her face in his t-shirt and groaned.
"Nooo, don't wanna." Hannah moaned.
"Well, I'm pretty happy you turned up last night." Paul murmured. "And I wouldn't complain if the same thing happened tonight, or tomorrow night. Or any other night after that."
After Paul's confession, Hannah peered up at him from under her eyelashes, pleased to see him smiling fondly down at her.
"Yeah, but next time, let's just save the hassle of getting cold and moving beds, and just both start off in the same bed?" Hannah suggested.
"Will that mean I get to sleep without you waking me up in the middle of the night?"
"I'm making no promises." Hannah smirked.
