After a grueling afternoon of vocal work, the seven were exhausted. Left to themselves again, they'd all collapsed in the living room. Bradley flicked the tv on and everyone's eyes turned to the screen, too tired to do anything else.
Hannah and Paul were lounging on one settee, heads back against the cushions. Hannah turned her head to face Paul to find him with his eyes closed and reached across to punch his arm. He jumped, turning to her with an unimpressed look on his face. Beckoning him closer, he slid his upper body across the cushions until she could whisper in his ear.
"We gonna do this before or after dinner?" She asked.
"After. Then we can run." Paul whispered back.
"I like the way you think Mr. Cattermole." Hannah grinned.
"What're you two whispering about again?!" Jo asked. Hannah and Paul looked up abruptly, slightly startled.
"Uh, what?" Paul asked dumbly.
"I was just waiting for Priscilla to explode at you two earlier." Tina chuckled. "Honestly, what is going on? You two have been daydreaming for days."
"Nothing's going on!" Hannah frowned, although the tips of her ears were turning pink. Thank goodness she hadn't had her hair cut so short that the others could see.
Jon, Jo, Rachel and Tina were all looking at them with suspicion. Jon did the universal sign for 'I'm watching you' before they all turned back to the tv. Paul coughed self-consciously, pulling himself upright on the settee.
Suddenly, Bradley piped up. "When are we eating guys? I'm starving!"
"Dunno, but I'm not cooking." Jo said, adamant about not stepping foot in the kitchen.
"Me neither." Jon agreed. The others all hurried to not be the last one to say they weren't cooking. Unfortunately for Rachel, she just lost out to Tina.
"No guys! I'm not cooking!" She complained. "Look, can't we just order in or something? One night's not gonna hurt, is it?"
"Sounds good to me!" Paul grinned. "Pizza?!"
Fast forward an hour and a half and the living room was covered in empty pizza boxes. Paul glanced over at Hannah before getting up.
"I'm just gonna go get a drink. Anyone want anything?" He asked. He took orders from the other six before heading from the room.
"Hang on, Paul!" Hannah called out. "I'll give you a hand."
Once in the kitchen, Paul headed for the cupboard to get out glasses whilst Hannah leant against the counter.
"When we go back in then, yeah?" Hannah asked quietly, watching as Paul filled the glasses with the requested drinks.
"Yeah. Give them their drinks, tell them, run away." Paul chuckled. Hannah moved to get a tray and sidled over to where Paul was stood, pressing herself against his side. Paul brought his arm around her, keeping a careful eye on the door as he moved the drinks onto the tray. "Alright, let's go get this over with."
Hannah glanced at the door before stretching to press a sweet chaste kiss to Paul's lips. "Okay, let's go."
