"I knew it! I knew there was something going on between you!" Jon exclaimed, pointing accusingly at Hannah. Hannah was still frozen in place, not quite knowing how to react.
"Oh God!" Paul cried, quickly pulling the towel from his head to hold it in front of him. "Jon!"
"Mate, I wouldn't bother, I've seen it all before." Jon grinned, unable to keep the mirth from his voice as a blush began to spread across Paul's face, down his neck, and across his chest.
"I uh..." Paul began, looking over at Hannah and seeing her slightly shocked expression. "Hannah, I'm so sorry. I'm just gonna go put some clothes on."
"Probably best." Hannah replied, managing a small half smile. She then looked at Jon and the smile fell again. "Then I think the three of us need to talk."
Whilst Paul headed back to his room to change, Hannah and Jon sat on the bed in an awkward silence. Neither quite knew what to say, so they waited for Paul to return. Seconds later, the man in question re-appeared through the bathroom door. This time though, he was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. He walked over to the bed, a slightly guilty expression on his face for having dropped them in it. Paul gingerly sat on the bed, shuffling over towards Hannah so that they were both facing Jon.
"What do you want to know?" Hannah asked tiredly, resigning herself to the fact that they were going to have to spill their secret to Jon. Although Hannah was glad that if it had to be anyone, it was him.
"What is going on?" Jon asked, looking expectantly at Paul and Hannah.
"Well, we're currently sat on Hannah's bed, chatting. I imagine Ratz and Jo are chatting somewhere else in the house. Bradley is probably..."
"Haha, Paul." Jon deadpanned. "That's not what I meant, and you know it."
"Well, be a little more specific then, Jonny Boy!" Paul shrugged. "That's one of your five questions gone, four questions left."
"What?! You never said I had a question limit! Han, tell him!" Jon exclaimed.
"Four questions left." Hannah repeated, before yawning widely. "I am actually quite tired, and knowing you, you could be asking questions all night. I think a limit is probably a good thing for now. And if you're really desperate for an answer to anything else, you'll have to talk to us at another time."
"Fine." Jon huffed, his eyes glazing over as he considered how to phrase his questions. Trying to put them in order of priority. "Are you two in some sort of relationship? Other than just being friends."
" Uh, yes." Paul answered, whilst Hannah just nodded.
"Is that all I'm getting?! And that wasn't a question, by the way!" Jon complained, shaking his head. "I knew it. I knew that hug was more than just friendly. Okay, question 2."
"Three!" Hannah interrupted, smirking at him and shuffling closer to Paul. Jon knew they were together now; there was no reason for them to keep to a safe distance.
"Oh, come on! I didn't know about the five questions when I asked the first! And Paul was being an idiot!" Jon protested, causing Paul to burst out laughing. Jon looked over at Hannah, raising his eyebrows and pointing at his older band-mate. "And you're going out with this?!"
That just caused Paul to laugh harder. Hannah couldn't help but grin at her boyfriend's antics, joining in his laughter as she looked over at him. As they made eye contact, their laughter died down to grins. Looking at each other like that, they completely forgot Jon was in the room. The grins subsided into fond smiles as Hannah ducked her head under the attention before looking up again to meet Paul's eyes, unable to stop her grin returning.
