She brought the food into the room. The Kang table had been placed on the Kang by Han Yue. Chen Jiao sat at the table and ate while Han Yue was diligently peeling peanuts across from her.

The bright sunshine illuminated half of the kang, and Chen Jiao sat in the sunshine, sipping porridge delicately.

Han Yue couldn't tell what he was looking at, he just couldn't take his eyes away from her.

After Chen Jiao finished eating, she wanted to put on her shoes and wash the dishes. Han Yue said without thinking, "Let's leave it for now. Come and do the work." He would wash the dishes later.

Chen Jiao obediently moved over and learned how to peel peanuts immediately. She sat opposite Han Yue, lowered her head to peel, peeled once, and frowned, showing that she was exerting herself.

However, after peeling for a long time, Chen Jiao's fingertips felt uncomfortable and she looked at them several times.

"Forget it, peeling it off so slowly is just like not peeling it off at all, so I don't need you." Han Yue said with disgust.

Chen Jiao didn't get what she asked for, so she smiled and went to read a book at the edge of the kang.

Just when Han Yue wanted her to tell her what was said in the book, someone suddenly called him at the gate. Judging from the voice, it was Lao Zhang, who often introduced him to errands.

  Han Yue hurried out.

Lao Zhang was very busy, so he said a few words to him and left.

When Han Yue came back, his pace was a little slow.

"What's the matter?" Chen Jiao asked curiously.

Han Yue looked at her and said: "There is a rich man in the next county who is building a house and looking for workers. My second brother and I will go there tomorrow. We will have food and accommodation there. We will come back after the construction is completed."

Chen Jiao had no preparation. She had just been married for ten days, and Han Yue was about to leave home?

"How long will it take?" Chen Jiao couldn't describe her feelings. Han Yue was not here, so she and Han Xu would be the only ones getting along day and night from now on?

Chen Jiao and Han Xu are not close to each other yet, and they only exchange a few polite words every day during meals.

"If it's fast, it's one month, if it's slow, it's two months." Han Yue sat back beside the dustpan and lowered his head to peel the peanuts.

Having been accustomed to a poor life since he was a child, Han Yue's favorite thing is to make money. He wishes that Lao Zhang would come to introduce him to errands every day. But now, when he thinks about not being able to see the cute little woman on the bed for more than a month, he can't even hold him in his arms at night. When it comes to her, Han Yue is a little resistant to Xinde's errand, although he will still go.

He was silent, and Chen Jiao didn't know what to say.

"You often go out to do things?" Looking at the sturdy man not far away, Chen Jiao suddenly became curious about Han Yue's previous life.

Han Yue nodded: "Let's go out two or three times a year, the time may vary."

Chen Jiao pursed her lips and asked in a low voice: "Are you feeling tired?"

Han Yue laughed: "Making money is tiring." Who would ask someone to do something that is not tiring?

Chen Jiao thought about the income of the Duke's Palace. In addition to the emperor's rewards, the main income of the Duke's Palace came from the farms and shops, among which the shops were the most profitable.

"Do you know how to do business? Let's open a shop!" Chen Jiao suggested excitedly. She made more money and her life became easier.

Han Yue had a lot of strength, but he had never thought about starting a business. Now that Chen Jiao said this, Han Yue thought about it and found that he had no business to do. Selling cloth and tea required a lot of capital. Basketball tables and chairs, he doesn't have that skill.

"What kind of business are you doing?" he asked his wife, "I don't know anything."

Chen Jiao looked at him blankly, having no clue for a moment. The farmers she knew were not involved in the business.

Then this day seemed to pass very quickly. Han Yue finished peeling a dustpan of peanuts intermittently, and it was getting dark.

Before going to bed, Han Yue packed up his luggage and brought two old clothes and a pair of shoes.

Chen Jiao watched him busy silently.

"I'm not at home, please ask Chun Xing to come and stay with you for a while." After tying his baggage, Han Yue got on the kang and said while taking off his clothes. Han Yue could tell from their relationship during this time that Miss Jiao didn't like to go out very much and stayed indoors all day. When the third brother went to study in a private school, she was the only Miss Jiao, so Han Yue was not at ease.

  Chen Jiao hummed.

"This is for you, it's not much, just look at the flowers." Han Yue took out a money bag from his trouser pocket and handed it to her. He was at home and did all the food and rice shopping himself, and Chen Jiao would have to take care of it for the next month or two.

Chen Jiao wanted to know how much money was in it, but no matter how stupid she was, she would not check it now, so she stuffed the money bag under the quilt on her side.

  Han Yue got into bed.

"The lamp hasn't been blown out yet." Chen Jiao reminded him.

Han Yue looked at her beautiful face and whispered: "I'll blow it later."

The separation was imminent, and he wanted to see more of her.

  Chen Jiao went with him.

The man was silent but powerful, and she kept her eyes closed shyly.

"You think I'm ugly?" Han Yue asked, stroking the corners of her eyes.

Chen Jiao opened her eyes in surprise, where did these words come from?

"Why don't you look at me?" Han Yue asked again.

Chen Jiao's face turned even redder. He was wandering around there. What was there to see?

Han Yue insisted that she look at it, so he turned over and moved Miss Jiao, who was exclaiming, on top of him.

Chen Jiao was in a hurry and finally managed to steady herself. When she looked up, she saw the corners of his mouth raised and his dark eyes looking at her intently.

"Come back soon." By some strange coincidence, she lowered her head and said, in the entire Dawang Village, Han Yue was the only meaning of her existence.

Han Yue's eyes changed slightly, and then he hugged her tightly, "Yes."

  Chapter 13

The money bag Han Yue gave Chen Jiao contained only one tael of silver and a hundred copper coins.

Chen Jiao asked Chun Xing about the price of rice here, and felt that the money was only enough for her and Han Xu to eat for two or three months, and occasionally eat a few meals of meat.

"It's quite a lot. Han Yue lives a frugal life. We would rather a man be frugal than lavish." Mrs. Tian came to visit and comforted her daughter.

Chen Jiao didn't dislike anything. She relived this life to find a man who was devoted to her so that the real her would not be buried. She did not come to pursue wealth, food, clothing, housing, and transportation. Chen Jiao didn't care if her life was miserable. Anyway, she doesn't go out or take any steps, and she has no intention of comparing with anyone.
