The day started out normally.
"Sweetheart! Look at you! Everything fits perfectly!" His mother gushed at his latest apparel for the host club, it was a scholarly kimono that was supposedly based loosely on the Heian period. It was sent promptly to his house by the Hitachiin Twins, whose mother and grandmother, for reasons unknown, had gotten close to his mom.
He looked like a noble scholar from that time, plucked from the era and thrust into the future, and his parents all but adored him in the garb. "Look at my baby, my beautiful and smart boy..."
"He takes after you, dear," His father said endearingly, he watched in both amusement and disgust as his mother swooned for him.
"Oh stop it you." She bashfully hit him, only to be taken off of her feet, quite literally, but her loving husband.
"It's the truth," They had that same lovey-dovey atmosphere around them that Tamaki tried to emulate as his persona in the host club. Only theirs was a lot more free, deep, and true, sweet enough to cause diabetes at a glance. "Everything perfect came from you."
"Oh, Lorence..." The lady practically had hearts in her eyes, both of them did in regard to each other. Honestly, they were a match made in heaven done on earth.
It was like this every single day.
Riel's eyes were rotting from the sweetness.
"Mom. Dad. Please spare me from this scene again."
"Oh goodness, sorry dear." Elia proceeded to jump from her lover's arms and embraced her smaller son. His head rested on her bosom as she hugged him tight, "I didn't forget about you, Mommy can hold you too."
"Don't forget Dad over here!" Lorence proceeded to lift them both up in his arms, those gigantic muscles of his making sure they were both secure. He gave both his wife and son a kiss on their forehead. One giggled, the other groaned, but his darkening ears proved he didn't hate the affection.
"Mom, Dad, I need to get to school now."
"Just a moment more, then we'll let you go."
"Haaah..." It was like a ritual for them every day.
[You're parents are very cute individuals, Master Riel.]
He said nothing about Dimitra's comment. Somewhere in her tone, he could sense amusement.
Damio, in his realm, was nodding his head at Dimitra's statement. Oh, how he wished he could hug Riel like that, too. But he knew that the soul would rather kill himself than allow that fatherly affection from him (yet, he was determined to get closer to him as time passed).
It took a moment, but they finally let him go. Today was one of their freer days from their jobs, so they wanted to take him to school. After he was finally allowed to change into his uniform, they got in their car and headed to the illustrious establishment.
Not looking up from the random book he was reading, Riel asked, "How is my 'project' coming along?"
His parent's eyes sparkled, knowing he was talking about his betterment projects in the poor areas of the region. "Wonderfully, dear!"
"Yes." His father nodded, "The buildings that will work as living establishments are coming along, and there are even some families that have begun to move in and manage it through the job programs you set up. It's slow, but going smoothly."
"The farming is also going extremely well! Those girls you introduced, Tsubomi Hoshino and Minori Sahara, are absolute darlings!" His mother praised them, "Their family's produce and farming techniques were great, and now those jobless in the slums both have income from their labor as well as food through their work on the farms."
