Ahaan quickly asked,"Are you saying the truth?"
He stood in disbelief as Vidhi silently nodded in response to his question, tears streaming down her face. "Now go to Ishqi quickly," she urged softly, her voice trembling.
Without another word, Ahaan left. His mind was a whirlwind of emotions as he drove to the Malhotra Mansion. While Vidhi bent over her knees and cried her heart out. She composed herself and went to the mansion.
On the other hand, Ahaan reached the Malhotra Mansion,he headed straight to Ishqi’s room.
Ishqi’s eyes widened with surprise when she saw him. "Ahaan… you’re here?" she asked hesitantly.
Without responding, Ahaan walked up to her and pulled her into a tight embrace. Ishqi froze momentarily but soon hugged him back, her heart pounding. After a long moment, they broke apart, and Ahaan gazed at her with a mix of concern and frustration.
"Why didn’t you tell me you’re pregnant?"he asked, his voice filled with pain and disappointment.
Ishqi felt her words get stuck in her throat. She wondered how he came to know about it. "I… I was going to tell you," she stammered.
Ahaan’s features softened slightly, but his resolve was unwavering. "It doesn’t matter now. I’m not leaving you or our baby ever again."
She looked at him, her eyes glistening with tears. "Ahaan, what are you saying? I’m not even your legal wife anymore," she said, her voice breaking.
In response, Ahaan leaned in and kissed her, pouring all his emotions into the moment. After a while, they broke apart, both breathing heavily.
"Ahaan," Ishqi began, her voice trembling, "you’re making a mistake again."
"What mistake?" he asked, his voice sharp, clearly annoyed.
"Please calm down," she pleaded. "All I want is for you to be happy. You’re happy with Vidhi, and I don’t want our baby to pressure you into something you don’t want. Please…"
Ahaan clenched his fists and took a step back. "You know there was a time when you used to understand me without words. And now, neither you nor Vidhi seem to get me at all. Do you know what the real issue is? You both are treating me like a football, tossing me back and forth between you. But the fault isn’t yours—it’s mine. I’ve failed to figure out my own feelings, and both of you are pushing your decisions onto me."
"It’s not like that, Ahaan,"Ishqi tried to explain, her voice breaking.
"I don’t want to hear anything anymore," Ahaan snapped. "You both do whatever you think is right. And I’ll do what I feel is right."
Before Ishqi could say another word, Ahaan stormed out of the room.
Ishqi collapsed onto the floor, tears streaming down her face as she called out, "Ahaan…" Her voice echoed in the empty room.
Unbeknownst to Ishqi, Vidhi had overheard the entire conversation. She stood rooted to the spot, her own emotions in turmoil. Meanwhile, Ahaan sped away in his car, his anger and frustration reflected in the reckless way he drove.
The next few days were heavy with silence. Ahaan distanced himself from everyone, spending most of his time at the office. Ishqi, on the other hand, made the difficult decision to leave the city, determined to start anew.
One evening, Ahaan sat alone in his office, lost in his thoughts. His brother Kartik walked in and sat down opposite him.
"How are you doing, Bhai?" Kartik asked gently.
