"I'm worried for you."

You shouldn't be. I'm fine.

"But you haven't eaten properly in the past week, and each day it's less and less..."

I'm fine, what do you mean?

Sure, I'm not losing weight, the opposite actually.

Every day I see myself in the mirror,

It just keeps getting worse.

"You have to eat."

Do I? If I'm already gaining weight, why eat? I'm fine.

I sit in my cubicle, trying to put my head down, yet my stomach aches.

I open my lunchbox, but then immediately close it in resentment.

I don't need to eat. I'm fine.

I can't suck in anymore. It doesn't make a damn difference.

"Basil."

I'll be one of those really fat people soon, struggling to even walk.

"𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥."

I'll be so hideous no one would even wanna look at me.

"𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐘!!"

"SHIT!!" I yelp, my pencil flying out of my hand.

My teacher puts her hands on her hips, clearly frustrated with me.

"Is something on your mind? Wanna talk about it?"

There's no way I could tell her something so embarrassing.

"Nope! I'm okay." I force a grin, and she walks away.

"Whew." When I let out a clear sigh of relief, I look at my stomach. It's even bulging more than before.

"Damnit..." I put my head in my hands.

   *COUGH* *HACK*

   This is the third time I've thrown up in the past week.

   And it's 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 Tuesday.

   "Ugh..." I lean over the toilet seat, trying not to vomit again.

   I don't know what's wrong.

   This isn't normal.

   But- nobody cares. So why keep complaining?

   Everyone just thinks I'm a fucking idiot and a brat for wasting all of Polly's money.

   I should just keep it to myself.

   So, I sit here, in the school bathroom, gagging my brains out.

No one will care, no one will see,

if I don't tell, right?
