"Hero!" I notice Hero sitting outside my house, which is odd, he should be at his.
"Hi... Mari.." He had on a huge frown.
"Why are you here?" I sit down next to him, putting a hand on his knee in sympathy.
"They locked me out... haha..." Hero points to the door.
"Who did?"
"Kel and Basil. Sunny probably in there too."
"Wait, Kel and Basil? Are they-" Turning my head, I stare into his eyes with worry.
"No, they're not back together." He clearly sulks, mumbling.
"Then what's going on?" Fear starts to rise in my chest.
His face turns into a conflicted one, opening his mouth then closing it.
"Basil... He..."
"Did something happen to Basil?" I glare at him, the fear only getting tighter around my neck.
"He's..." Hell, Hero can't even seem to say it. So that just leaves me to guess.
"Is he alright... mentally?"
He nods.
"Okay... physically?"
He waves his hand back and forth, meaning he's unsure.
I immediately stand up, trying to open the door, but it's locked tight.
"He's... P-P..."
"?" Still not getting it, I sit in front of him, holding his shoulders steady.
"Breathe, honey." I try to stay as calm as I can, but it's hard when I'm not sure what's going on.
"He's..." he takes a deep breath in, "pregnant."
"..." I try to keep a straight face, but it threatens to fall apart at any moment.
"R.. really?"
He bops his head up and down.
...
Suddenly, my body moves without thinking, and I kick down the door with strength I didn't know I had.
"Woah!" Hero gasps, and I grab his hand, pulling him to his feet.
I don't been have to say anything, I start dragging him through the house and up the stairs.
I reach our room, busting open the door.
