Trouble Ahead

Okay so I re-uploaded a previous story that is a sequel to The New Severus Snape. Its called the Dark One Rises. Give what little is there a read and let me know what you think. I will have to reread it as well as the first book to find out where I was heading. Anyway, back to this story.

Severus and Hermione lay in the newly cleaned bed naked, legs tangled together. They both were sweating heavily and just caught their breath. Severus wrapped his arm around Hermione who laid her head onto his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He slowly and sensually raked his nails across her back, sending goosebumps all along her body. 

This wasn't part of the plan. They were supposed to avoid each other. He looked down at her. They were in deep trouble if they couldn't stay away from each other longer than two weeks. She looked up at him and moaned sweetly. "Hermione," he said, looking at the ceiling. 

"Mmm." She rubbed his chest and kissed it. 

He sighed. "I think I, " he halted. He didn't want to say it in case she didn't feel the same way. 

She leaned up on her arm and hovered over his head. "I do too," she whispered, kissing him. 

His arms went to her, roaming her body instinctively. Growling, he pulled back. They didn't have enough time to do it again, as much as he wanted to. "We should get back," he breathed, swallowing that stupid lump. 

He'd have to ask Madam Pomfrey if she could do anything about it. They dressed in silence and left the house in Bonks care. The house elf was busy scrubbing a single tile in the kitchen with such eagerness that Severus was almost worried about the creature. They held hands up until they reached the edge of the path. Hermione stepped out first and Severus watched her turn down the alley and out of sight. He already wanted to go find her and embrace her. 

He waited several more minutes before heading back into the thick of the town. It was nearly time for Severus to call the students back. It was nearly five and Severus wished he could spend the last few minutes with Hermione. However, he spotted her rushing to meet her friends, a bag in hand. 

She laughed at something Ginny got for Harry and peeked over at Severus who was leaning against the column of the Three Broomsticks. He looked past her to avoid suspicion and sneered. She rolled her eyes and went back to talking to Ginny. She said something, then Ginny shouted. She must be telling her about Weasley. 

The students started filing back towards the castle themselves and Severus was glad that he didn't have to round up anyone else. He walked slowly to the castle behind the group. Hermione slowed down, breaking off from her friends until she was just within earshot of him. "My office, after dinner," he muttered. She gave no indication that she heard before speeding back up.

At dinner, Severus couldn't keep his eyes off Hermione. He was barely eating, which earned worrying glances from everyone at the staff table. Minerva, while still suspicious, didn't say anything. He was glad that she kept her mouth shut. He wasn't sure he would be able to keep it a secret if she asked. 

Every move she made got him unnecessarily excited. He took a long drink of water and cleared his throat. His mouth was dry and he couldn't keep his excitement down. He hissed inwardly and quickly got up. He glanced at Hermione. She had froze when he got up. He shook his head once to signal for her not to get up yet. 

In his office, he shouted angrily. His erection was standing tall and obvious to all the portraits as he walked by. Several snickered loudly. He opened his room door and slammed it closed. He was acting like a hormonal teenager. He's had control over himself since he became a Death Eater. Now, all of a sudden, he couldn't stop himself from having an erection, nearly at the staff table.
