Y/N was dreaming about her again. Her mother. She hadn't seen her since she was an infant, but Y/N could still remember her beautiful face. She could remember her voice and how much it would calm her, and how she's always felt like her mother still loved her, even if she'd left. Y/N was enjoying getting to see her mother again, until a voice interrupted her dream.

"She's been out for a while, but she's healing well." a strong male voice stated.

"Well her foot isn't backwards anymore so that looks good enough for me." a different, but familiar voice responded.

"Shut up Leo! It's probably your fault her foot was like that anyway." It was a girl this time, talking in a scolding manner.

"Oh shit she's waking up."

Y/N groaned and opened her eyes slowly and was met with four people. Well three people and... a horse person? Am I tweaking? I knew I shouldn't have eaten that gummy I found on my desk. Y/N opened her eyes fully, adjusting to the bright sunlight.

A tanned boy with freckles and curly blond hair rushed towards her, checking her pulse and temperature. "How are you Feeling? Fatigued? Nauseous?"

Y/N slightly pulled away from him. "I mean, other than the fact that I'm seeing a horse-man in front of me right now, I'm actually pretty good." Y/N answered.

The boy that helped her into camp stifled a laugh and the horse-man smiled. "I am Chiron. I am a centaur, but horse-man is okay too."

Is this what being high feels like? "Okay, nope, I'm going back to sleep. No thank you." Y/N closed her eyes, hoping she'd wake up for real.

Y/N peeked out of one of her eyes. Okay. This is real. She opened her eyelids fully, groaning in frustration. "Can someone tell me what's going on. Please?" she pleaded.

A beautiful girl with dark brown hair that was collected into a perfect messy braid spoke up. "Yes. This is Camp Half-Blood. It's a safe haven for demigods like you and the rest of us here."

Wait... Memories of her seventh grade mythology unit came back to Y/N. "Demigod as in half god? As in one of my parents is a god?" the girl with the braid nodded.

"Okay.. so who is my god-parent or whatever?" Y/N inquired. "We don't know that yet. You'll probably find out soon though." the boy she met earlier said.

"I'm sorry, this is all a lot to take in. Who are you guys anyway? No offense." Y/N looked around at the group standing in front of her cot.

The boy she met in the woods spoke up first. "I'm Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus, bad boy supreme." he said with a smile.

Y/N snorted. "Okay buddy." she turned to the girl.

"I'm Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite. No weird nickname for me." she said, throwing a look at Leo.

The blond boy turned away from his med kit and introduced himself. "Will Solace, son of Apollo. you'll probably be seeing me a lot." he sighed.

"And horse-dude is Chiron. Got it." Y/N exhaled before looking down at her tattered clothes. "Um. Can I get some new clothes by any chance? And like, a shower? Perchance?"

"You can't just say perchance." Leo said.

Piper looked at him with a confused look on her face. "Uh, yeah let's get you some clothes. Is she okay to be out of bed doctor Solace?"

Will rolled his eyes and gestured at them to leave. "Okay, let's get you up." Piper pulled Y/N out of bed, supporting her arm. Y/N thanked her as they walked out of the infirmary.

Y/N walked out of the Hermes cabin where Piper had set up her stuff for her, taking in her surroundings. The camp was beautiful. It was sunny and the perfect temperature, with a cool breeze and beautiful skies. This does not feel real. Y/N's thoughts were interrupted by Piper's melodic voice.

"Okay, so I actually have some stuff to do, so I'll have Leo give you a tour of the camp, is that okay?" she explained.

"Yeah, that's fine. I owe him an apology for punching him anyway." Y/N replied. "Cool! I'll go grab him." Piper ran off to find Leo

Y/N continued looking at her surroundings until Leo walked up to her. "You ready for your tour?" he asked. "Yep, where to?" Y/N responded.

"Well, let your tour guide, Mr. Super-Sized McShizzle man lead the way!" he walked in front of her as Y/N rolled her eyes.

"Okay, let's show you my cabin first, AKA, the best place in camp. It might be a little hot because you know, fire and forge and all, but I think you'll be okay." Leo stopped talking when they finally arrived at the cabin. The outside was industrial, a lot of metal and rust, as expected for the god of invention. Leo led her inside, and Y/N took in all of the different blueprints and little machines just lying around.

"Let me see if I can find some of my siblings. Oh! Hey Viv, come here there's someone I want you to meet!" Leo yelled out into the cabin, and a girl started walking towards him. She was beautiful, taller than Y/N with black curly hair, deep brown skin, and enchanting warm hazelnut eyes.

"Leo, there is no way you share genes with this woman," Y/N turned to the girl, ignoring Leo for a minute. "I'm Y/N. beautiful cabin you got here," Y/N shook her hand. "You've got a boyfriend by any chance?" Y/N winked at her.

The girl laughed lightly as Leo stood with his mouth slightly agape. "I'm Vivian, but you can call me Viv. And no, no boyfriend." she said with a smile.

Leo cleared his throat. "Okay I think you've seen enough of our cabin. Let's go." he tugged in Y/N's sleeve slightly.

Y/N sighed. "Okay I guess Mr. McShizzle or whatever has to finish my tour. Find me at dinner though, I'll be at the Hermes table." Y/N waved to Viv as her and Leo exited the cabin.

Leo looked at Y/N weirdly. "Dude."

Y/N turned to Leo. "What?"

Leo sighed. "Never mind. Let's finish this tour."

By the time Leo had shown her the dining hall, archery range, climbing wall, lake, pegasus stables, and numerous other things, it was already dinner time. Leo had already explained the food offerings to her, so she said goodbye to him and went to the Hermes table.

Y/N sat down at her table with her plate full of f/f, taking a look at her temporary roommates. "Hi, i'm Y/N. I just got here yesterday so... yeah," Y/N's stomach grumbled as she remembered that she hadn't eaten since the day before. "I'm gonna eat now." Y/N dug into her food at an alarming pace, finishing in less than two minutes.

She conversed with the Hermes kids for a while until people started getting up and leaving. "Is it already time to go back to the cabins?" she asked. "No, we're headed to the bonfire. come on!" a tall girl from her table explained as she led her to the amphitheater. This will be fun.
